A simple, convenient place to stay in Nara. Great advice on where to go and where to eat (best food in Japan)! The bikes were a hit. We stayed for two nights & always felt welcome. Thanks Iki! We loved our stay.

Pros: The location is great, right next to shops and restaurants and a quick walk to the park with the beautiful deer. There aren't many rooms. We had an ensuite bathroom and were given a free upgrade to our own double which was great. Quiet & clean. Staff were super friendly and gave us a map of the area. Cons:...

We were looking for a simple inexpensive accommodation in Nara for a night. We needed it to be conveniently located as we would be spending most of our time out taking in the city's cultural and historical sights. Never stayed in a guesthouse before but we liked what we saw from the pics posted on TA. It's accurate. While it...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a weekend on Fri 21/10 & Sat 22/10. We were surprised how close the property is from the train station & the host has kept the place really clean & well maintained. The place is located next to a shopping street but at a very quiet tucked away residential lane way. You'll probably...

Can't find better deal for clean , new place in the heart of Nara. Best thing was the room could accommodate a family of 4 as the beds were bunk. This arrangement allowed for more space to walk and put bags. Felt more spacious. Kids loved the bunks as it gave them a private space/tent. Each bed has curtains for...

We had a small and authentic japanese room. 2 foldable beds with a small table and 2 chairs (actually, sitting on the floor) Toillet and shower as all in Japan, efficiënt and functional with diff options. The host was very very helpfull, and speaks good english. It's close to some nice restaurants, bars, shoppingmall and trainstation. A good place to...

We recently stayed at June's guesthouse and were pleasantly surprised. The price is very reasonable and we had a quiet night's sleep compared to other guesthouse in the area. June is polite and helpful, and the facilities are extremely good value. Would recommend this to friends.

We booked the room with private bath and toilet. Good mix of traditional Japanese tatami with modern elements. The owner speaks good English and gave us good introduction of nearby restaurants. The location is walking distance to attractions (Nara park) and major transportation hubs (we used Kintetsu to compute from / to Osaka and Kyoto). Since it's a hostel (aside...

Very Clean. Modern. Access to a refrigerator and a kitchen with toaster oven, microwave, oven, dishes and the like. Good AC with dehumidifier for dying out after the rain. Best Wifi in Japan. Very near to shopping and many many restaurants.
