the hotel is located within a couple of minutes walk from the Nara Kintetsu station. It's in one of the two shopping galleries near the station. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Within a short walk is the Nara Park and the temples. the hotel is not modern (they have actual room keys, not key cards) or...

Arrived at the JR station- so this is a 10 minute walk from there, and if you are not looking for the sign because the reception is above a shop, you can miss the hotel entrance. Anyway the tourist centre at the JR station were on the ball and gave clear instructions. From the other station, it is not more...

This basic hotel is well located but not particularly good value. Rooms ar clean, but small and bathrooms are tine. We had a Japanese style room (futons on the floor, no furniture) which was meant to sleep three, but I don't see how. The wifi signal cuts in and out all the time.

We chose this hotel for the location - halfway between the station and the deer / temple area. We had a tatami room for a family of 4 and had plenty of space in the room. Location is on one of the shopping laneways and close to heaps of food options. Would stay again.

This hotel was perfect aside from three things: a bit overpriced for a japanese style room with minimal bedding, walls are VERY thin, and no internet in rooms. the staff were very kind and courteous and spoke good english. they let us borrow umbrellas, and held our luggage for us the day we checked out. If you don't get any...

The situation is great, very good coffee & breakfast 2 mins walk.....down the lane on the left a wonderful grill & bar, servicing very good Japaness good. The rooms are small the bathroom even smaller...

I spent two nights at the People's Inn Hanakomichi. It is very conventiently located in the town center and easy to find - there are new signs. The room I had was spacious, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the walls are thin so if you mind hearing other guests, this might not be the right for you. The staff spoke little...

My girlfriend and I were stopping through Nara for one night to see the bowing deer. We selected this hotel on the basis that it was well located and this was clearly apparent when we arrived as it sat very centrally just off the main strip in Nara. The hotel also offers good value for money. The interior is a...

The place was very close to Kintetsu Nara station, less than 2 minutes walk. It is located in the middle of a shopping lane with Mcdonalds, Daiso, souvenir shops and eateries nearby. Took us less than 5 minutes to reach the tourist information centre and less than minutes to arrive at the Nara deer park. There is also a bus...

This hotel is located at a street with lots of food and shops. It is also a nice long walk to the major attractions of Nara. The hotel has an old look (it could be on purpose as it is called an 'Inn') but everything is very clean and complete. We booked a double room and it was very spacious....
