Stayed in Nara as we were having trouble finding somewhere to stay in Kyoto on a Saturday night. Nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but best I can say it is fairly unmemorable. Location is good though.

With only 3 minutes walk from Nara Station, the hotel is located in the center of the city. Yet, it is within a walking distance to most attractions the city provides. Do t me SD a visit to the Tōdai-ji temple. This is where the biggest Buddha in Japan is located.

Stayed here for 1 night, luckily, otherwise I think we would've complained and perhaps left. The pillows in Japan seem to have this layer of beans, perhaps to keep them from floating from the bed? All it does is ensure a terrible nights sleep - and this hotels pillows were the worst of all. We were also unable to check...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Hotel is conveniently located close to both JR or Kintetsu station. There is Lawson and many restaurants within walking distance from hotel. Walking to Kohfukuji temple and Nara park took us around 10 minutes. Shopping street is also less than 10 mins away. Room is small, which is expected in Japan.

(S$400 for 2 nights). It was a standard twin room but it was really small. And the counter staff, friendliness was not...

Stayed for one night. Location is great - in the middle of the city centre and between both main stations. Room was clean overall, but seems they forgot to hoover the floor - someone left a great chunk of fingernails on the floor. After 26h of travelling we were too tired to bother.

My wife who is native Islander Japanese and I took our first born son to visit her parents who still reside in Japan in 2006. We toured several cities, many shrines and temples and visited with her parents for a week while there. During our travels we stayed in this hotel in Kyoto for a few days as we traveled...

Central location and very quiet. Room a bit small but clean. Good to have a fridge. Heating system is a bit weird because cannot control. In a small room, is a bit over heating, have to open window for fresh air.

Thank Andyyp
