Just like the rest of the hotels in this chain, Dormy Inn Himeji was an excellent and well-located budget option near JR Himeji station. Extra perks such as onsen access and late-night ramen were an added bonus.

This is a non-smoking hotel apparently, so I couldn't understand why the room smelt of smoke, but it did. We tried to tell the receptionist, but she just kept repeating that it was a non-smoking room. They also couldn't move us as the hotel was full. To me, it wasn't that the last person had chosen to smoke, the smell...

Nice, small, clean and quiet. Good breakfast, bath house on the roof. We had an unplanned stop in town and booked without high hopes. The standards are far superior to similar western hotels. Also very groovy track suits provided for walking around the hotel, rock on Logan's Run style...

Our stay was very comfortable, large rooms, and very reasonable prices for the location. Yes! there is a beautiful Hot Spring bath ( one for men, and one for women) on the 10th floor, which are partly indoor and partly outdoor. Really enjoyed the misty early evening in the outdoor portion of the hot spring. Breakfast buffet had lots of...

Booked this place because of its rating on Tripadvisor. Dormy is super convenient, one block from station, upstairs from 7-11, and across street from Nikko hotel ( that was my room's view). There is a bus from the station that goes to the mount Shosha cable car (and passes by the castle which is walking distance). Service was good, ie...

The room is just good enough for one person with the great location in Himeji. Walking distance to Himeji Castle for me. May be quite far for the old people. The Onsen is the great for relaxing and the breakfast with good service is more attractive.

Nice hotel a few minutes walk from the railway station nextdoor to a 711. Comfotable but smallish room. All mod cons. Free coffee near the check in desk. Microwave and washing facilities. One of the receptionists even rustled up a couple of dishes so we could heat up some of the excellent food we'd bought from the food court underneath...

We stayed in a basic room, which was tiny but incredibly well planned and highly functional. The staff are reserved, however are efficient. It was hot and humid when we stayed - the air conditioning is good, and there are umbrellas available at the front door for free use during your stay. There are hot spring spas available. As with...

Dormy Inn is easy short walk from the shinkansen station. Room was tight for space but adequate for one night. Onsen on top floor was good. Dropped bags at hotel in morning & they were in our room when we returned in evening. Breakfast was ok and had reasonable selection. Very pleased we stayed overnight at Dormy Inn so we...

Room fairly compact but clean and comfortable. I had a bit of an issue with the pillows - they were really hard and neck breaking. My husband went in the onsen and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He also enjoyed the evening noodles and breakfast very much. We took a taxi whilst there and that was not a good experience. The...

Thank you very much for staying in our hotel and also for your reviews. First we are very sorry for the pillows in the room.
