When I booked this place I didn't know it was a Minshuku, but they had Japanese kind of rooms. The couple running this Homestay kind of accommodation are one of the nicest people I met in Japan. They picked me up from the train station, welcomed me into the home and treated me like a family guest. Would definitely recommend to stay here in Nikko. I hope I can stay here again.

This small ryokan located less than 1km away from Train Station, in very rilexing & quite area. The beautifull couple, Keiko san & Sizuo san, will make ur stay worth to remember. They taking care of u like family, everytime i came back from vold weather outside, they had prefer a set of hot tea in my room. Such an attention! I also love japanese set menu breakfast they make every morning, so delicious, Sixuo san will check on u if u had enough breakfast. The place is tiny, but super hommy. But i guess what make stay in this ryokan superb is Keiko san & Sizuo san.that always going out their way to make u feels best on ur time in Nikko. My husband and I stayed at this lovely minshuku for 4 nights when we visited Nikko. The rooms and bathroom are traditional Japanese, which was a lovely introduction to this amazing country. Our hosts were brilliant, everything was super clean and they insisted on picking us up and dropping us off at the station as well as offering to collect us from various locations during our stay. We had breakfast on two of the mornings we were there and it was awesome. Again, very traditional, with many different dishes. Beautiful. The house was so calm and serene. What a fantastic way to start our trip. Thank you to Shizue and Keiko. We will definitely recommend Rindou No Ie to anyone coming to beautiful Nikko. Thank you for our box of chocolates as well. They were delicious!

This is a lovely place to stay in Nikko, with the friendliest couple owning it that you ever could meet! A very short walk to the train station, but a lift is always offered! Excellent large rooms, which are immaculate and a quiet location. Breakfast is very tasty, it just takes some adapting to (well for us anyway :)). A microwave and hot water are also available if you want to prepare something yourself. Definitely recommend staying here!

We chose this house base on TA reviews and it didn't let us down. We had a very smooth experience staying at Rindou-no-ie and thanks for Shizuo-san and Keiko-san' warm hospitality, it trully made us feel at home. Prior arrival communication and pick-up/drop-off arrangement made us feel safe and easy visiting Nikko. Tatami rooms are spacious and clean with TV, tea set and free WiFi. Don't miss their Japanese style breakfast, highly recommended to book with Shizuo-san in advance. If you crave for some soft drink, beer, cup noodle even popsicle at night you can find in 1st floor or like us enjoy Lion d'or supermarket to explore local produce.
