We enjoyed one night here, but were a bit confused as to why the place is so empty. I think we might have been the only guests there. The onsens were really nice; dinner was well done and only about $100 for 2 adults with 4 courses plus meals for our kids. We stayed in a Japanese style room, but they also have western style. It's a great place for a family since it's so empty and not lots of Japanese people to offend with our poor American manners! It's a good place to try to be a bit more Japanese while not making too much of a fool of yourself. More

It was our first experience in a Ryokan and we were very pleased with it. The hotel is a bit out of town but they came to get us at the station and took us back to the station in the morning. The room is spacious and nice. There were very few guests and we enjoyed the onsen (indoor and outdoor) by ourselves. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, real japanese style. More
