While in Tokyo we had a quick visit to Yokohama and stayed here for one night. Only five minutes walk to the station and right beside the river, plenty of places to eat nearby and a nice walk to the lovely harbour area. The room was not big but very clean , modern and

Positives - very close to train station, friendliness of staff staff was outstanding, proximity to restaurants and bars. Negatives - musty smell in bathroom due to lack of ventilation, floor of bathroom stained and white walls in room showed lots of dirty scuff marks.

The staff at Hotel Edit were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The nearest train station is only about a 10 minute walk, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, also

Nice location next to train station, Small room (no surprise in Japan), well soundproofed. Loads of restaurants at walking distance. Nice breakfast. Cheerful and professional staff. Small glitch : aircon in autumn/winter cannot go below 22/24 from what we were told. As the

I am not sure but if you email the hotel they will answer you very quickly. When I booked I asked about getting there from Narita Airport and they were very helpful

Aloha, It is within walking distance of the Osanbashi pier which is where I believe NCL docks, but it is a little on the long side - around 20 minutes walking. According to Google maps, you could catch bus #26 and cut it down to under 10 minutes of walking. The area is pleasant, so if you are into walking... I am sure that taxis are an option also. Hotel Edit is a good choice for a simple, slightly upgraded Japanese "Business hotel" experience, I had some business close by and it was perfect. You might look at the Hotel New Grand, Yokohama for a little closer to Osanbashi Pier, around 12 minutes walk, and in 2016 we got a very good rate for a Tower Bay View Double with a great view. Enjoy Yokohama!

Hello, thank you for inquiring. Yes our single room has a window, but it does not face outside. If you would like some sunlight, we recommend you to kindly book a semi-double room and indicate in your booking that you would like a window facing outside. Thank you for your kind attention in this matter.

Dear shez12, Thank you for inquiring about Hotel Edit Yokohama, and we are terribly sorry for the late reply. Yes we do accommodate children, and we ask the parents to kindly share the bed with the child. I'm afraid we do not have baby beds or extra beds, so depending on the child's age, we ask you to kindly book another room. Thank you for your kind consideration! Dear GaryPeh, Thank you for answering on our behalf and thank you for your kind words! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the breakfast and the library/shop on the first floor. We no longer sell greens in our hotel, but we do hope you will come back soon.
