We had room 205. we paid £110 per night. The view out the window if we looked right was a rusty fire escape. straight ahead we had the trees and hills, but not spectacular. looking down we had the bins from the kitchen and a very unkept concrete area not for guests. The hotel is very dated, in our room...

This hotel is at a secluded location up the hill. I will only recommend anyone who are driving to stay at this place (like we did). The view form our room was amazing. It was one of the traditional Japanese hotels that you sleep on tatami. The room itself is not bad, very clean and like any other onsen hotel,...

The huge bonus was the room size was 3x the size of places in the same price range when compared to the main cities in Japan plus we got to experience the...

Very nice and big room. Location acceptable, but there's no restaurant around the hotel, have to take bus to Moto-hakone or Yumato-Hakone. Onsen was awesome. Limited breakfast choice, but food is nice. Hotel provide free shuttle service to Futago-Chaya bus stop.

The rooms were nice and clean and the staff were very considerate and cooperative. Accommodation comes with dinner and breakfast. Most of the rooms are spacious and have a lake view window. They have an outdoor onsen which is worth bathing in after touring around Hakone. The hotel is located a little far from the nearest bus stop and there...
