What a gem of a hotel. Connected to rail/subway/market/shopping mall/restaurants by covered walkway. Free Disney Resort shuttle. Free breakfast (was included in my room rate, which was cheap to start with $120/night). Free evening drinks/candy/snacks. Self-serve laundry on-site. Friendly english speaking staff. And there is a twice daily direct one-bus option to/from Narita airport. Rooms are super clean and has a mini-refrigerator. Not sure what else one needs when visiting Tokyo Disney or Tokyo even (45-60 by rail). Spent four nights here with my teenage daughter, mostly for Disney but did explore Tokyo one-day. This hotel location made all that possible. Very easy to navigate even on this first trip to Japan (we do NOT speak any Japanese). The breakfast was my favorite part of the stay. Amazing assortment of Japanese and western breakfast items. Lots of juices, smoothies, coffees, sodas, and even have fresh squeezed orange juice. Staff are super friendly and most spoke enough english to help. No hesitation on future stays. When we return, will stay here again without hesitation.

It was an excellent hotel with good spots nearby especially Disneyland. The staff was very cooperative and hospitable. We were served a great variety of food in breakfast. The infrastructure of the hotel was modern and rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

We had a one night stay to complete our Japan trip at the Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay. The location is great as it is literally an extension of the train station, but the property had much left to be desired. For one, check in was quite difficult, being largely automated and not English-friendly with multiple forms per person as staff float/linger over you while you’re finishing on the tablet. If one needed a second key, then staff had to be involved anyway. The staff provided a QR code for you to find the amentities and features of the hotel. All self-served which can be helpful in some cases, but we felt it didn’t work as well as it could. The staff were courteous whenever we had interactions with them, and one in particular was very helpful with an odd amenity request. Unlike other properties we stayed at, there are zero measures for security control at the elevators and room access, which may be concerning to some given proximity to the train station (but Japan is a safe country as a whole overall, peace of mind goes a long way though!). The property looked fantastic out front but once you reach the floors with rooms, inside the property was dated, old and is in dire need of renovation. With damaged walls and furniture showing its age, some re-touches could go a long way. The floors for the rooms have a noticeable musty odor as well. The hotel apparently has a self-serve amenity bar for supplies as needed though we did not partake. There was an area that served candy/treats and drinks during the day/evening (might not be the best plan serving kids sugar before bed though!). Despite the issues with ambience I indicated, the room was “clean” but was missing other nice touches like complimentary bottled water, storage safe, etc. Slippers (not disposable) and nightwear were also available for use. The toilet includes an older style bidet. Breakfast area was large and had an assortment of Western and Asian-themed dishes and was nice despite the shortcomings in the accommodation room. The hotel may be classified as a budget hotel for the area, but we felt we received less value than what we paid for as we did not visit Disney. Overall, the Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay “did the trick” but we would not stay there again, especially when we received a much higher value proposition at the rest of the hotels we stayed at during our trip, and the ambience of the property had many shortcomings once you went upstairs. Please indicate if you found this review to be helpful as it will allow me to better focus my future review efforts.

Mr. jjluke Thank you very much for choosing our hotel from among the many lodging facilities available. All of us at the hotel would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are in the process of adopting a check-in procedure using tablets so that guests can be picked up smoothly from the Corona Disaster, but there is still room for improvement, and we are gradually making improvements based on the feedback from our guests. We will continue to improve our guestrooms based on customer feedback. We will continue to make improvements to provide not only safety and security to our guests, but also satisfaction that exceeds their expectations. Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.

Disney partner hotel located strategically at JR Shin Urayasu station (connected by pedestrian bridge). Hotel room is spacious with 4 single beds (We book Quadruple room). All amenities can be taken from the lobby level (just beside the receptionist), it has wide range of amenities e.g pijamas (adult and children), toothbrush, pampers, soap, lotion, and many more. The room and hotel is a bit dated but in good and clean condition. There is a self service laundry at lobby leve, it has around 5 washer and 5 dries, coin exchange machine is provided as well. We didn't try the breakfast so we can review on it. Since this hotel is a Disney partner hotel, it has shuttle bus run frequently since early morning to both Disneyland and DisneySea (bus leaving from the 1st/ground floor) and there is a Sagawa express counter as well (open until 12pm almost every da). So it is very convenient for sending luggages. JR Shin Urayasu is around 20 minutes from Tokyo station, it has few big shopping mall nearby e.g AEON, and others. The hotel provides free drinks and snacks (ice cream, candy, many more) on the lobby level (Opening time can check with the receptionist), it has beer and soda drinks. Overall, a good value hotel if you are visiting Tokyo Disney Resort.

Great location right at the train station. Reception is on 2nd floor so if you come in from ground level be prepared to go up a floor. Check in was painfully slow. I had already filled out all my details online in advance and was sent a QR code which was supposed to make check in quick and painless. However I had to redo ALL of the same info I had already submitted on a tablet at the desk while the reception desk sat there. When the staff took over after I completed the check in, they were very friendly. I just wish check in was quicker and more efficient. Check in took probably 15-20 minutes because of this process. Only one key card issued. The hotel itself seems very nice in the lobby and public areas. However the room hallways and guest rooms feel fairly dated. The room was clean and decently large but just don’t expect anything super fancy. No amenities in the room itself but they apparently have an amenity room near reception if you need anything. We did not need to visit so I can’t speak to what’s there. There is a Lawson convenience store in the hotel itself (we didn’t visit but it’s nice it’s there). The buses to/from Disney were very easy and convenient. We added the breakfast buffet which was delicious and a large spread of a variety of different foods. Would recommend. Overall if you’re looking for an affordable hotel that is close to Disney this is a great option. Set your expectations. I was fine with a not as nice hotel given we’d likely rarely be in the room since we were spending the entire day at the parks.

Property is good value if you are in the area for Disney. Room was spacious for 5 adults with 2 double beds and 4 bunk beds. Breakfast was great and the lobby lounge with free snacks and drinks was a great resting place after a day at the park. Hotel was also walking distance to 3 malls, a JR train station and a convenience store in the lobby. It was also a pickup point for an onsen park nearby which is great to visit.

Family of 5 stayed in a 6 bed room including 2 bunk beds and 2 double beds. The room was very big especially compared to those in Tokyo and right across the road from the train station which was 1 stop from Disneyland. There is a convenience store next to the hotel and a shopping centre across the road with supermarkets and a food court.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my 6 yo boy. As the hotel is next to the train station, you literally reach the hotel once you leave the train station. Check in was easy especially if you did the pre check in form online. We got the card and went up. However at > 25K yen a night, i had expected a bit more. The room seemed basic and there was no bottle of water. There is a free shuttle to Disneyland and Disneysea which makes it easy to take an afternoon break during your visit. You need to collect your amenities from the lobby level. We headed to the Narita Airport after we checked out and found out the airport bus at the station only had 1 timing a day! Disappointed, i had to find an alternative route to the airport. Hotel Room: 3 Stars (Small room, bathtub) Room View: 3 Stars (View of a roof) Service of Staff: 4 Stars (Helpful staff) Lounges/Restaurants: NA Room Service: NA Location: 5 Stars (Near the Train station and free shuttles to Disney)

This hotel is a great option if you're going to Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea. It is conveniently located right next to the train station so it's super easy to get to. The location of the hotel is only great if you're going to be visiting the Disney parks from here though. Don't book this as your main stay in Tokyo as it's a bit for out in our opinion. We only went to Disney from here so no problem for us though. There is a Lawson right downstairs in the same building and there a restaurant/pub in the basement as well. The check in process was super easy and the staff super helpful during this process. They also were able to print out our Disney tickets since we don't have a printer with us. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from both of the parks which is super convenient. Also a lot of ammenities available for free which was great. There is even free coffee, tea and some other refreshments in the main lobby. The room itself was really large and can easily fit a family, it was also super clean everywhere. Highly recommend!
