This hotel is good value for money.
You can bring your own food and eat in the lounge until 11pm, and there is a drink bar.
The bathroom is separate from the toilet.
The room numbers are written in large letters so you don't walk past them.
There is a Lawson and Welcia next door.

We stayed for 5 nights at La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay on October 2018. Disneyland and DisneySea), Here We Come!

HOTEL - La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay is quite far from Narita airport. It approximately took about 1 hour from the airport to get to the hotel. At the airport, I took the limousine bus (cost 1,800 yen per pax) and we have to alight at the nearby hotel (Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel: Discover). The distance between La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel: Discover is not that far. You can take a walk for less than 5 minutes to arrive at the La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay. We arrive at noon (you only can check-in on 3 PM sharp) and decided to go to city for a sightseeing. They provide a free shuttle bus and the route is always like this: La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay - Maihama Station - Tokyo Disneyland - Tokyo Disneysea. Upon check-in they will give you the schedule of the shuttle bus, so you can adjust your time according to the shuttle bus schedule. The trip to the city takes about 1 hour from the hotel.

ROOM - We stayed at the 5th floor and our mums stayed at the 4th floor. Each room is quite big and more than enough for us. The room is bigger than the city’s hotel room (like in Tokyo, Shinjuku or Shibuya) and clean too!

SERVICE - We only used their service to borrow the phone plugs, as our plugs is different from Japan’s kind of plugs. You can only borrow 1 plug per room, as they are limited, and you must return it during check-out. When we borrowed it (at night), the check-in counter was very crowded, so you must queue along with the other person who wants to check-in. It was quite troublesome, imo.

FOOD - La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay did not have any restaurant. They provide daily breakfast and free drinks (any kind of drinks) on their public area. The breakfast is only a simple bento and 1 pack of green tea. If you are bored eating the same breakfast every day, you can buy some food or drink or anything else that you want at the nearby convenience store (from the hotel’s door, go to the right after the car park, you will find it).

POOL - There was no pool at La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay.

Overall, it was a nice hotel (only if you planned to go to Disneyland or DisneySea) for 2 days or more). If not, this hotel is not for you. La’gent Hotel Tokyo Bay is too far from the city and quite absorb your time and energy every time you go back after a tiring stroll from the city.

The hotel is very nice and very clean. Located quite far from the JR station, however they provides you with shuttle bus.

The hotel is suit for people who wants to go to Disneyland / Disneysea. The hotel have shuttle bus to Disneyland / Disneysea, and it takes 20-25 minutes to get there.

In thr hotel area, they have family mart where you can buy food. The hotel provides you with free flow drink (until 1am) and microwave.

The bathroom was very clean. My kids love it.

We were happy staying at La'gent Hotel.

We spent a week at this place as a family holiday to Disneyland and Disneysea and a bit of Tokyo sightseeing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Here's why .. they are a mere 2-3 mins walk from the Limosine drop-off, very very warm and friendly staff, a tad colourful for our taste but nevertheless nice cheerful room, we went for the large bunk bed room on first floor and was well worth the money. Their reception staff are all very helpful, especially Take' and the lady who's name (sumimasen) I do not recollect but with a Canadian degree and excellent English were the ones that we got to talk to ... their community room for having dinners, free vending machine drinks, bento boxes in the morning and circle-k convenience shop on campus, 5 min walk to the nearby restaurants and free shuttle bus to Disney made it all a wonderful holiday !

Loved our stay i this hotel. The rooms are bigger than Japan standards and the price is very affordable that we got much more than we expected. The rooms are very clean and caters to all your needs. The also have a shoe drier which is perfect after a rainy day in Disneyland, we got to dry up all our sneakers. They even have kits for the kids. Not much space for Luggage in the room.

Although they don't have a restaurant, there is a Lawsons rolling store outside which offers assorted meals and you can heat the food in the dining area of the hotel. They also have a drink station which is a big plus for us.

The shuttle to Disneyland is very dependable but tends to be full during busy times.

Breakfast is average and drink station is not available during breakfast so if you are not a tea drinker you need to buy beverages at the vendo.

Considering the price we paid, we got excellent value!

Stayed here for 3 nights recently to base ourselves close to Disney. It was perfect for this purpose as the 2 days we went to Disney we stayed quite late so it was great to have only a short shuttle bus ride back to motel.

Upsides -
- kids play area - although nothing extravagant my kids played with the foam blocks building towers for ages, it was great
- baby facilities downstairs are excellent (change table, feeding room)
- lots of toiletries (including razors and even hair ties) which were replenished daily
- shuttle bus, very regular schedule and ran on time and efficiently
- price is excellent considering all the extras you get

Downsides -
- very limited lunch/dinner options, no restaurant at the hotel which meant we ate at Disney more than we wanted to. Not a lot of restaurants nearby either. We went to Lawson’s and got bread and jam to make sandwiches for lunch but there was no cutlery in the room or kitchen area to use. Would have been great if the kitchen area had cutlery and a toaster to use.
- no normal black tea in the drinks area so if this is your thing you’ll need to buy it

** we did discover an amazing cafe with really good coffee close by on the day we were leaving, wish we’d found it sooner, as you come out of the hotel, turn left and go past the Mercedes Benz dealership. Coffee and food incredible!!

Overall a good place to stay if going to Disney.

Overall hotel: 4 stars. Clean. Has laundry facility and a desk for baggage delivery across all region in Japan. Free drinks from 2 pm onward and free shuttle bus to and from Disneyland, Disneysea, and Maihama station which leave every 20 mins. Travel from Narita airport is easy. You can take a shuttle bus to Disney hotel which is opposite. Free pajamas is also provided. Family Mart is within the compound ad there is a paid parking space within the hotel.

Check-in/ Check out: 5 stars. Fast and Efficient less than 2 minutes.

Service: 4 stars. Standard Japanese hotel service. There is no bell service. You can use a trolley for your luggages. The hotel has baggage delivery service to other city on premise. Breakfast is included in a bento style which you can take it out with you or you can eat in the area.

Room: 4 stars. Clean, well equipped and spacious compared to standard Japanese hotel. The hotel is quite new.

Amenities: 4 stars. You’ll have everything you need here.

Food: 3 stars. Breakfast is provide in a box which is convenient but the menu tends to be the same everyday. So if you stay for a few days it will be a bit boring. But overall, it is good. You just have to pick your breakfast up in time. If it ran out, you will have nothing to eat in the morning.

Kids Friendly: 5 stars. Absolutely for kids! There is a small play area and also a family room with bunk bed and space for kids to enjoy.

Staff: 4 stars. Well trained. Well organized and speak good enough English.

While the location may be a little obscure La Gent makes up for it in service and extra amenities.
Everyone was very helpful and lovely, we never really had any issues during our 3 night stay.
There is a Lawsons right across the parking lot that was perfect for buying dinner etc to take back to the dining area at the hotel. There's not really any dinner options around but the hotel had a huge area where they have microwaves and a variety of free drinks of an evening. Breakfast is pretty average..but it's free.
We had the Deluxe extra large family room
And there was sufficient space for our family of 6. The beds are very firm which I believe is fairly typical of Japanese hotels. The pillows were bean filled and odd for us but we got used to it.
The bathroom was brilliant and they had everything from toothbrushes to hair combs and pyjamas for everyone.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, very cost effective for those visiting Disney as they have a free shuttle that goes too and from, the shuttle gets very busy at peak times so make sure to watch the schedule times and wait outside early.
Would happily stay again.

Arrived at Maihama station, go to North Exit basement with few soccer ball stool, wait for the free RED shuttle bus. Free bf daily with bento set. Book airport limo when you arrived at the hotel. Airport limo is just 5 mins walk at Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel Discovery. Adult JPY1800, Child JPY900. Disneysea is the last pickup point, so try to be early, some unable to board the bus to hotel, need to wait for next bus about 20mins later. Free beverages from afternoon to midnight. Staff can speak English very well. Will stay here again.

I stayed here in April with my mum for 5 nights.

We did have some hassles finding the shuttle pick-up at Maihama Station on arrival though & several well-meaning locals sent us to the other side of Disneyland! That was after them looking on the hotel's website...my wifi was uncooperative on arrival into Japan, so I couldn't double-check myself. Lesson learnt.

Anyhow, so you don't end up dragging luggage around, and losing 2 hours: Once down platform elevator, take the north exit (left hand side) of the station - you'll find some stairs outside to descend, look for a big metal sculpture with a clock on the top. The hotel shuttle meets you there. It will make a stop at Disneyland and SeaWorld before going to the hotel (30-35mins)

It is worth noting that the hotel is closer to Shin Urasu Station (1 stop further along on train) so if you're happy to walk, that's a quicker option. The walk is a pleasant, easy flat one and approx. 1.7kms. It's a very nice safe area.

Check in was easy. The room was immaculately clean, and had great ammenities.
We enjoy the bento box breakfast, something much different to our usual breakfast choice. It also came with a boxed drink of green tea....we used ours as an icepack during our travels! The drinks on offer into the evening were awesome too.
Breakfast, and any meals are eaten in the large dining room which has microwaves for heating. Well set up for families.

Overall a pleasant stay.

Hi KingsleyL46, Any luck with the web booking for the limousine bus? I didn’t recall having problem with name signing up, just the usual sign up form process. Otherwise you can also purchase the ticket directly on spot (just at the bus stop they’ll have a staff standby). Online just a bit more convenient especially when you’re travelling with kids and arriving at nighttime.

no hotel transfer. you can take the airport bus to Disney Celebration Hotel or take the train to Maihama station and get on their hotel shuttle from there. The airport bus was good, convenient as need not drag luggage around. but they have timings so depending on what you reach NRT

The shuttle at disneyland picks up from the bus coach carpark, and it’s quite a far end which is not marked. you will see other hotel shuttles pick up from there. it might be easier to board from Maihama Station, on the North exit. their website posts directions with pictures it’s almost a 10 mins walk from the park entrance
