We had a Superior Twin for 2 nights to be closer to Disneyland and Disneysea. The room was huge and had comfy beds and pillows. The hotel has a couple of restaurants (which we didn't utilise) and a 24/7 natural lawsons in the lobby. The hotel has a shuttle bus that goes over to the parks almost every 10-15 minutes which was very handy to have. We would stay here again.

This is our favorite hotel whenever we go to Disney. The rooms are spacious and clean. The shuttle comes often. The hotel does lack amenities and store options. The bath house upstairs always pleases the Japanese family I have. One complaint I have is the limited options the hotel gives to foreign booking sites, especially the limited option of booking the big rooms. I stayed at the room for six, loft, and was sad that that’s a hard option to come by nowadays since Japan reopened. Won’t be going back this summer due to the lack of options, but hopefully in 2024!

Thank you for choosing our hotel as your preferred accommodation whenever you visit Disney. We are delighted to hear that you find our rooms spacious and clean, and that our shuttle service meets your expectations. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of amenities and store options. However, we are glad to know that the bath house upstairs pleases your Japanese family. We regret to hear that you won't be able to visit us this summer due to the limited options. However, we look forward to welcoming you back in 2024 and hope to exceed your expectations once again. Thank you for choosing our hotel and we hope to see you soon. Best regards, Mitsui Garden Hotel PRANA Tokyo Bay Front Office Manager

Stayed here with my hubby & 12 year old son on two occasions during our recent trip to Japan. We booked a triple room, but on each occasion were given a quadruple room (1 double + 3 singles) which gave us plenty of space. I wonder if all family rooms are configured this way, it's great. The beds were harder than ours at home, but neverless comfortable & the linen was fresh & luxurious.

We used the hotel shuttle directly from Narita Airport, this took an hour and cost-wise was much the same as a train, was nice just to jump on a bus after a long flight, rather than negotiating the trains with a weary brain.
Location-wise is great, with frequent shuttles into the Mihama Station which is not only the gateway to Disneyland, but also just a 15 minute (220Yen) scenic train ride to Tokyo. This section is also covered by the Japan Rail Pass if you plan on purchasing one.

The bath is to die for! Make sure you pack your fave bubblebath, can blissfully soak up to ears in the deep tub...perfect after a long day on your feet. The shower pressure was fabulous too.

The rooms are immaculately clean & all seem very modern & new.

Breakfast was fine with a mixture of western and Japanese dishes which are fun to explore & try. Everything was a tad on the cold side for my liking, but I know I'm fussy like that.

The Lawsons store on the ground level is awesome. Ready-made sushi, salads, meat dishes, sandwiches + loads more all at affordable prices...makes for easy dinner & dishes. Also has plentiful breakfast items, if buffet breakfast isn't your thing....and cheap coffee (100Y) and large bottles of water to fill water bottles for under 100Y.

I enjoyed Mitsui Garden Hotel, it is affordable, clean, comfortable, spacious and convenient. The staff is pleasant and professional. The rooms were well sound proofed, we never heard our neighbors and I know they were noisy (my teens). The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a large variety of Western and Japanese items.

The attentive staff and luxurious amenities made me feel like I was staying at a four star hotel. To top it off they have complimentary massage chairs on the top floor overlooking the bay (you have to look around a bit to find them) it was so nice to have my legs and feet massaged after walking all day. Both times that I visited the massage chair area I had the area to myself, even more relaxing.

The hotel/Disney shuttle makes staying here convenient. The shuttle bus came every 5 to 10 minutes. Travel time between the Disneyland and the hotel was between 15 and 20 minutes, this might improve later as there was a lot of road construction going on when we visited. Use this shuttle to and from the JR Maihama station which is right in front of Tokyo Disney. Easy enough to get here, but I would think twice about making this homebase if I were spending most of the time in Tokyo. We spent 3 nights here, one day spent in Tokyo/Asakusa area and one day at Disney Sea. We chose to stay here because we wanted to queue up right before the park opened and stay till the after the fireworks.

When arriving Maihama station for the 1st time it can be a little tricky finding the hotel shuttle area, you have to head to Disneyland and take the stairs up out of the station area then down after crossing over the bridge under the “Disney Resorts” sign.

The in-house Lawson has a large selection of carry out meals and drinks. We saved money by doing this. I thought convenience store food sounded strange for dinner but I found things like spaghetti, yakisoba, oonagi, and some other nice looking dinners. For about $15 I had a salad, spaghetti bolognese, fresh fruit, and a bottle of tea. Our kids ordered pizza and chicken nuggets (karage) from a pizza delivery place, their menu is in the room, the pizza delivery place insisted we give them a cell phone number, I would just have the front desk help you order, I’m sure they wouldn’t mind, the front desk was always eager to help.

The only thing I wished for was to have Wi-Fi in the room instead of just in the lobby, but it was not a deal breaker, I would definitely stay here again.

Please note we saved money by staying here in June while kids are still in school here, otherwise the price goes up when school is out for break. The breakfast buffet was included in our room price too, a $15 p/person value.

I am pleased that I have made a right decision to stay at this hotel.
Room was spacious and comfortable.
The big public bath on top floor was wonderful and clean, I went early morning to ensure that the bath was not so crowded.
Disney shop and convenience store on the ground floor was really convenient.
We did not take breakfast at restaurant as we have running toddler and baby it was much easier to eat food from convenient store in the room. The store has so many food including fresh bakery, beer and snacks, well stocked but you have to be patient for a long queue at busy period.
Car park is 1000yen/night and is located just in front of entrance.
The shuttle bus service was always efficient and found bus driver and all hotel staff were excellent.

Overall this hotel has excellent value and we will definitely return when we visit TDR again.

Like a true home away from home. Everything our family of 7 needed were conveniently within arm's reach - quad room (4 single bed), humidifier (when the weather was too cold to turn on aircon), high quality room slippers, well-designed pjs (vs other hotels), step stool, small wash bin, clothes line, shoe dryer, Lawson convenience store, coin op laundry, Disney store with the top selling items, shuttle to Disney resort, telephone for taxi near the exit of main lobby.

The play area in the lobby keeps kids at play during check-in and while waiting for shuttle bus.

There are 3 logistics services on the hotel property: 2 luggage transport service for Haneda airport and Tokyo station and 1 for parcels and cartons.

Note regarding breakfast: the food is great for kids with 2 good viands for adults aside from the sausage and egg staples. There was hot Maggi cream of corn soup. For the 2 breakfasts we had, the restaurant offered variety of viands which was much appreciated.

Lower marks for:
- airport limousine bus drop off point (service entrance). We arrived on a rainy and couldn't make it to the lobby.

- inconsistent hot shower temperature. It was fine on our first night but water couldn't be warm enough on our 2nd night.

Tip: if doing laundry will be part of your schedule, ask for room at the West Wing. The dryer at the 5th floor works better than the 6th but you'll need 3 runs for all clothes to completely dry and ready to wear. Have 100 yen ready for the coin op laundry (does not accept 50 yen): 200 yen for washing machine (max 4.5kgs), 100 yen for laundry soap (for 4kg), 100 yen for every 30-minute dryer use.

My spouse and I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Prana Tokyo Bay location for one evening, on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017. We planned a day trip to Tokyo Disneyland for the following day. We checked in at 3 PM, the front desk staff was friendly. Yes, there was a language barrier, but they did a very good job of communication information and getting us all squared away with our room.

I will note that mostly everything is in Japanese, like the dehumidifier and the air conditioning remote. But the Google Translate app helped me to decipher buttons to get the room at a more comfortable temperature. So it takes a bit of adjusting on your end if you're not local or familiar with Japanese. The Sento (public bath) on the top level was great! If you're unfamiliar with the etiquette of visiting a Japanese public bath, please do some research and go. Not all hotels in Japan have this amenity; it's a unique experience if you're feeling adventurous and in need of a nice long soak. The bath tub in the room itself was pretty awesome too, you can soak the whole body without having to choose which part of you gets to be in the water.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had all of the necessary toiletries. Robes and slippers are provided for each guest in the room. I'm a little picky about bed firmness, and these beds were perfect for me--super comfy with all the right support. I slept so well. There is a convenient store and a small Disney Store in the lobby, both were great to have in the hotel. We did not eat at the hotel, as most of our time was spent at Maihama Station and Disneyland. Another great part of this hotel is the location and the shuttle service. The hotel has a stop at shuttle location #6 right in front of the Disneyland entrance. Just a little walk aways is Maihama Station where Ikspiari is at as well, somewhat akin to the stateside "Downtown Disney" but better (in my opinion). So if you're taking the train in to Maihama, you can easily roll on to the Disneyland entrance and take the shuttle to the hotel, I believe it was running every 15/20 minutes. And then of course from the hotel you can take the shuttle to the Disneyland entrance. It was perfect, punctual, and reliable.

The best part about this place was the price--SUPER AFFORDABLE. You get the Disney Partner aspect of the hotel, the comfort, and the amenities without the sticker shock of staying on Disney property. Hopefully I'll be able to come back!

First of all, the hotel isn't exactly convenient if you plan on spending most of your time in downtown Tokyo. The shuttle to the Maihama Station is convenient...takes about 15 minutes from the hotel. It's about a 40 minute ride to Shibuya, an hour to Yokohama, 30 minutes to Akihibara. So, you'll spend a lot of time getting to where you want to go. My kids wished we had stayed closer to town.

On the other hand, if you are planning on staying at Disneyland or Disney Sea until closing, it was nice to jump on the shuttle and be back at the hotel in 15 minutes. I wouldn't have wanted to take a long train ride back to Tokyo after an exhausting day.

The public bath was wonderful. When you have more than two people and one bathroom, it was nice to run up to the public bath and not have to wait for others to get ready in the morning. The view is wonderful from the bath. And it's so nice to soak in the bath after a long day of sightseeing (it's open until 1 am).

For me, it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The atmosphere at the hotel was, to me, relaxing. The shuttle to and from the airport was really convenient and reasonably priced (1800 yen).

For future trips, I'd probably spend at least half of my stay here and the rest in town.

The staff is friendly, though not all fluent in English. I think we were the only Americans there.

Skip the breakfast. It's a bit overpriced (1820 yen) and the food is just okay. The late night snack (1200 yen) was a much better deal and the food seemed much better. The curry, ramen, miso soup, karaage chicken were great after a long day at Disneyland.

I would definitely stay here again.

For those families wanting to visit Japan's Disneyland or Disney Sea, this hotel is the perfect location for the perfect price. We had a quad share room which was spacious and well appointed. There is a free shuttle bus which leaves about every ten minutes from outside the hotel which takes you to and from both of these theme parks. There is a Lawson convenience store located in the hotel which provides food items suitable for breakfast and dinner. You can purchase your tickets to Disneyland and Disney Sea from 6am on the day of attendance, from the checkin counter. There is also a Disney shop located within the hotel. The free bus shuttle will also drop you at Maihama Station for connection to Tokyo etc. Overall I would recommend this hotel based on price, convenience, room size, free shuttle bus and location.

There is an onsen. Western toilet, nice deep bathtub. The bathroom window lets you see the beds. Kids love this because they can look through the glass at whoever is on the bed and spray the window with the shower head. Heater works well. One washer and dryer on the floor, 200 yen for washer, 100 yen for 30 minutes (dryer). Detergent available thru coin operated machine. This is a Disney partner hotel. You can save yourself from standing in line at Disneyland looking for souvenirs, and visit the Disney store in the Hotel lobby. Also visit the Disney stores and souvenir shop right outside the Disneyland entrance gates to get your souvenirs. Long lines in the park everywhere. Loved the Prana restuarant buffet--great for kids, too.
