The Kisarazu Fujiya Kichou (which is spelled and identified incorrectly on Trip Advisor as the Kicho Hotel) is a good stopover Japanese inn in Kisarazu, Chibe prefecture. It is on the coast and the Aqualine Bridge/Tunnel which spans Tokyo Bay starts on the eastern side in Kisarazu and crosses over to Kawasaki which is near Yokohama and Haneda Airport. It is convenient mid-way point to visit Tokyo, Yokohama, Disneyland by car, bus or train. Kisarazu is an industrial town and there isn't a lot of beauty there, other than shoreline views of Tokyo Bay. I visited in the Spring and so it was too cold to spend much time at the beach. The inn rooms are traditional tatami mat rooms (might be tough for westerners since you sit on the floor.) The absolute best thing about the inn is the FOOD which is why I give this a high rating. The stay included a full Japanese kaiseki style dinner with fresh grilled fish, clam broth, fresh sashimi, salad and a small dessert... More

“Wifi is only available on the 2nd floor rooms. But, for foreign travelers, your best bet is to rent a Pocket Wifi online before you travel. The Pocket Wifi can be picked up at the airport.”
