Have to stay in airport hotel due to very early flight out to Tokyo. Only hotel conveniently located within the domestic terminal making super easy to get lift down to departure level and check in.

Extra perks include free visits to Public Onsen within the airport, however need to walk through the terminal for about 5 mins.

Hotel is quite dated but well maintained.

The only improvement is if breakfast Buffett can start a little early (5.30am) instead of 6am to accommodate for early flights it will be great.

This hotel really surprised me! We stayed because the location is unbeatable for a late arriving flight and we wanted to leave fairly early. The price was very reasonable (¥7400 per person) including breakfast.

The hotel entrance is conveniently located in arrivals, with both stairs and an elevator to to the hotel lobby on floor 3. The lobby was grand, especially for an older airport hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have an onsen, but it can't be used if you have tattoos.

The room itself was roomy, with a well stocked bathroom with all necessities, washlet toilet which was warm at night, a table (which we used to eat a dinner of Lawson's onigiri), a mini fridge, and an electric kettle.

Star attraction was the breakfast. We are vegan and expected to not be able to eat anything here. Instead, all items were well marked with allergen information. We had a Japanese style breakfast with rice, natto, pickles, boiled spinach, and miso soup.

We stayed here for the night just for transit since our flight was in the next morning. Room is fairly size-able for the 3 of us. They have a sofa which can be converted into an extra bed. Room was clean and breakfast was ok. Overall, this hotel is good for short stay or transit stay but the room rate is quite expensive for such a basic transit hotel like this one.

Hotel is located right in the airport - can't get more convenient than that! Hotel entrance is a 5 minute walk from the in-airport JR train station as well.

Clean, efficient, excellent buffet breakfast, and free access to wonderfully comfortable onsen bath on the roof of the building. Helpful staff even was willing to store my suitcase for me for the rest of the day after I checked out until I could pick it up again in the late evening.

If you're looking for gorgeous views or something, that's not here, and it's a half hour train ride to Sapporo, but if you have a late flight and just want to step out of the baggage claim and go to a hotel, this is your solution!

There are no climate controls in the rooms.
The hotel claims there is air conditioning, this is lying. The hotel itself has air conditioning but the rooms do not. Given that the Japanese like to heat indoor spaces to tropical levels in winter, the result is disgustingly hot rooms and nothing you can do about it. The staff were polite and apologetic but the best they could give me was a fan that only stays on for a couple of hours. So I had to wake up in a puddle of sweat every 2 hours at night to turn it back on again. Worst hotel experience of my life.
See photo of the hotel information in the room. This is not air conditioning.

We stayed in a triple room with two young boys. The beds were comfortable enough. The windows don't open and it was really hot inside the room but you can turn down the fan speed which does make it appreciably cooler. The breakfast buffet is small but good, particularly if you enjoy Japanese food. There is an onsen that is offsite that is provided for free. It is a few minutes walk to the shopping mall connected to the airport which is superb for food and coffee; we were able to find some things that we needed from the pharmacy there too.

The only issue we had was a random alarm going off early in the morning, which we never set (must've been the previous customer).

Signage for this hotel is in various languages which helps a lot. Don’t be deceived by the entrance the lobby is spacious and well laid out. Beware of the fast closing lift doors! All of the staff we interacted with couldn’t do enough for you from reception to house keeping. The bedrooms are very clean and functional for a stop over. Breakfast is a busy experience so just relax and go with the flow, good table occupancies / unoccupied system in place. Take away coffee is offered from the machine but you are not allowed to drink it in reception. Good eating and shopping options available in the airport shopping village definitely worth a visit. There is an outdoor observation station on the 4th floor, great for a spot of plane spotting. Will stay here again on our travels.

This hotel is in the airport complex and there is everything you need here to start and finish your stay in Sapporo. The rooms are nothing special and the breakfast is sufficient but also nothing special… best get on your way… also all the restaurants in the complex seem to close at 8:00 pm so I’m not sure what you would do for food if you arrive late. Also no bar! No minibar and no room service…

Although the price is slightly higher than other hotels in the area, we chose the hotel as its perfect location for us to stay for the night while we wait for our other family members to join us on the next day to begin our holiday in Hokkaido. There are many shops in the airport terminal
to explore, from food to crafts and gifts.

The hotelroom is of decent size and provides all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is also good and finally all staff are very friendly and helpful. In fact we decided to stay in the same hotel again on our last night in Hokkaido before we fly home.

My wife and I stayed overnight at the Air Terminal Hotel for an early morning flight. Check in and check out was a breeze. It is the best place to stay if you have an early morning flight or a lay over at New Chitose airport. The room was quite large, actually much larger than we spent 5 days in at the ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo and half the price.
Because it is actually in the airport there is plenty of shopping areas, and up stairs there are a large number of restaurants, and a Food Hall with great views of the airside. Check in for JAL flights is a two minute walk from the hotel. It’s a pity all airport hotels don’t have this.

Yes, one day would be sufficient. Your family can shop in the afternoon, have dinner and visit the onsen in the evening. Remember to ask the hotel for the vouchers to use the onsen free of charge.

Breakfast starts at 6.00 am and it takes only about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the domestic airline counters.
