We had an amazing stay at Hotel Quest. The staff there was incredible, the friendliest in Japan. We were so surprised at how well the staff spoke English. We needed to buy an international phone card and they had that for sale and they helped us use it as we had no idea. As soon as we arrived we received... More

Spent one night here. Clean and comfortable enough. Room small but OK. Modular bathroom. Room was hot and was not able to open window. Front desk staff very helpful and efficient. Their English was limited - as was my Japanese - but we coped well. Couple of minutes walk to the train station and a shopping centre nearby for basics.

I stayed in Hotel Quest Shimizu between 7 and 10 August. People is very friendly and helpful and in spite of the fact that only a few can speak English there is always someone to give you the information you need. Room and bathroom not spacious but were both very clean. The Hotel is very close to the railway station... More

This is a typical business style hotel in Japan. Rooms are relatively small, but perfectly well equipped including reliable wireless internet service. The breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant is good but not exceptional although it does feature an very good Japanese curry for breakfast.

I am a frequent visitor of this hotel, because of the super-friendly hotel staff, comfortable Simmons Bed, and - among others - cool Italian restaurant Quomo. Quomo offers buffet breakfast in the morning, and you will find special Japanese-style curry pots (spicy or mild) at the buffet counter. For ordinary Japanese people, curry is not a breakfast menu. But at... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights during a recent business trip to Shimizu. I have stayed at this hotel before, but they seem to have done a recent remodel which was somewhat better. The issue with Shimizu is that there aren't a lot of choices on hotels and this may be the best one. Plus, its pretty cheap... More

We originally chose the Quest because of its convenient location. It is an easy walk from the Shimizu station. We were pleased with the initial impression which was of a modern, efficient hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room proved to be small but adequate, clean, and had all of the amenities we expected. The staff continued to... More

Nice hotel with good amenities. Eventhough the number of rooms are less, hotel with good infrastructure and nice staffs. Main advantage of location just outside of Japan Rail, Shimizu Station and well connected by bus. Sorrounded by shopping malls makes it perfect hotel. People planning to visit to Nihondhara hills can select this hotel due to its near locality.
