Not a happy experience - our tour was re-booked here 'because of the marathon'. The facilities really did not measure up to the standards we expected in Japan. Small rooms, could have been cleaner, busy roadside location and generally dated feel. The restaurant only offered breakfast, which was not very hot and of poor quality. Two nights was more than enough, thank you. The free WiFi worked most of the time, if slowly. At least the staff were polite, and the self-serve laundry was a plus...

We stayed here recently for 2 nights with our birding group and were extremely underwhelmed, in fact our entire group was! The rooms are absurdly small, even by Japanese standards. So small that the person sleeping next to the wall could not even get out of bed without crawling over the other one! Add luggage to the mix and it became unsafely cramped! The lobby is also very small and uncomfortable, and check-in seemed to take forever, far longer than any other hotel we stayed at during the trip. The restaurant was average, but nothing special. I'd give this place a miss!

I have had some really bad experiences with the APA chain, but was pleasantly surprised.
This APA has seen better days but service was effecient and it was overall good value. Really only accessible by car and I'm not sure I would come back but it served its purpose.

Only here because typhoon forced a change of plan. There is a marathon this weekend. All but the mega expensive hotels are booked out. For 15000 yen, it is the pits.
Worst place I have e er stayed in. The APA in Namba is lovely. I thought this would be the same. Dodgy location, filthy dirty, pubes in the bath, rubbish behind the door, aircon doesn’t work.
Should be condemned or demolished.
I’ll be leaving first thing in the morning. Yuck yuck yuck
