The staff was friendly and always available to answer our questions in a matter of seconds, they even schedule a visit for us at Ninja-dera temple.
The room had enough space and it was super clean. The hotel is located five minutes walking from a bus station and 10/15 minutes walking from the city center. Walking, all the main atractions in the city are located no more than 3 km away. It is a good catch!

Ninja-dera temple is near and we can accept a tour of the temple. ※Please notice; ●You would see inside of the temple only though Japanese guided tour. ●A child younger than 12 years old cannot participate in a tour. ●You must not wear sleeveless shirt or other immodest clothes. ●Please be at the temple 10 minutes before a tour starts and finish reception before entering. We stayed in this hotel as part of a tour. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a little bigger that the previous few we had stayed in. Great views to the mountains beyond. Numerous toiletry items were provided.
The hotel is a 10 minute easy walk to the centre of town where restaurants and bars can be found.
The Included breakfast was a mix of western and traditional foods.

kanazawa is a town with a beautifull castle, and the garden Kenrokuen is one of the 3 most beautifull gardens off whole japan. u can easily walk this city and there is of course a metro system. visiting the samourai houses and temples is real nice and gives u a real good view of ancient times

The most disgusting dirty filthy mediocre at best hotel room. Absolutely disgusting rooms. Mouldy shower,broken sink leaking taps, dirty floor. Scared to shower in it. Slab of concrete excuse for a bed .peice of rock for a pillow. No sleep here. Not enough food to feed a mouse.for breakfast. Not worth any money. They do not care attitude very bad. Need a rocket up thier bum . Big hugely fat O . No recommendations. Webjet again. Rip off Merchants.

So I'll begin with the good points of this hotel, it's beds were comfortable and big enough for a 6'2 gaijin with clean and warm bedding and the location is only 10 minutes away from the main street. The bad points are slightly more numerous. For the price paid, the overall decor is very tired looking and needs modernising throughout the communal areas and rooms, the carpets are well used in high traffic areas, although like the bathroom and furniture that also seems to be from the 80's/90, is kept clean. The bathroom also seemed to have a funny drain smell about it., and had very poor/no extraction. There was good power from the shower but took a number of micro adjustments to hit the required temperature, and kept fluctuating hot and cold after that. theThe room itself didn't seem to have any way of altering a/c so was very stuffy at times and consequently left a lot of condensation on the window which dripped into pools onto the window sill. The fridge didn't work. Wifi was good, although it dropped out at least once a day forcing numerous attempts to re-enter password to rejoin. The staff were friendly, with a small amount of English, and upon arrival presented us with bottled water and a deodorant wash "present". The bottled water was replenished daily. Breakfast had a good selection, although some items were luke warm despite arriving to eat at 7am.

Had stayed one night in this hotel in April,2017. The hotel was arranged by the Webjet Exclusive; the rooms were small, bathrooms were small and worst of all, there was only one lift (small size) for guests! The hotel was a bit way out so not convenient for finding a suitable restaurant for meals!

Remembering that many Japanese rooms are small, this is no different. But staying here with filthy carpet and very, very tired rooms would not be in hurry to come back. Approx 12 mins walk to town. We arrived on a bus coach and the restaurant was shut, which didn't make sense.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel and though the Kanazawa experience was great, we felt that this hotel was outrageously overpriced. (I may be wrong but i think that the benefit may have gone more to Agoda.com rather than to this hotel.
