Stayed for 3 nights, Two adults and a teenager. Two beds and an extra roll-away bed in our room. Still had plenty of space in the room with our luggage. Bathroom area was fantastic. Five minute walk to Kanazawa Station for Trains and buses. Staff were helpful and spoke some English. Would stay her again.

Under the booking search, I needed a room for a family of four, and when I booked it, it was for two separate rooms, on the same floor. The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. Check in was fast. I was able to store my baggage before checking in, and even after checking out.
Location: About a 5 minute walk from the train station. We caught the bus and train from here.
Room: Clean, modern, and spacious especially for Japan. Free wifi worked. Very good value for the money.
FYI If you have a Japan Rail pass, avail yourself of the free JR buses in town.

All 3 of us really liked this hotel. It is within a 5 minute walk to the Kanazawa train station. Location is very important to us. We had a large size room with 3 beds and room for our luggage and two chairs as well. We did not have any meals here, instead ate at nearby cafes and restaurants in the train station. One breakfast was at a standup soba/udon stand at the train station. Delicious and we enjoyed the experience. Another dinner at a well known Oden restaurant at the train station. Staff was very accommodating and someone at the desk always spoke English. Toiletries are located near the front desk. There is a Japanese furo located in the annex and no one was there during the 2 nights I used it. Loved it. We were impressed with this My Stays hotel and want to use this chain of hotels again.

1. Location is good, close to Kanazawa Station.
2. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff at canteen is very keen and friendly.
3. The WORST reception service EVER!
I've travelled to Japan many times and have stayed in many different hotels, from expensive one to low-cost hostel, there was never a reception service worse than that. The Japanese receptionist first gave us a wrong room key because she mistook that we had already checked in. And when we finally got the right one and asked for the breakfast vouchers as we had reserved and paid for that, she told us that our reservation didn't include breakfast. After I showed her the confirmation email, she finally made all these things right.
During the whole process, there was no smile on her face, no a single word of "sorry", even we had to spend over 20 minutes or more waiting for our check-in to be done with all these mistakes that she made.
Japan is well-known for its quality service and hospitality, what a shame for a hotel service provider to lose her kindness and professionalism to polite and peaceful customers.
I will never stay in this hotel again and recommend none of my friends to stay.
The two stars are just for the breakfast and canteen staff.

As a permanent resident of Japan I have never been asked to provide my PR card upon check in. My Japanese parent was not required to show their ID. This is discriminatory treatment of guests and I would advise others to avoid this hotel.

This place was the least comfortable and poorest value hotel of our entire trip to Japan. The standard room was really tiny; it had a very small double bed up against a wall, so little floor space that the only possible place to open the suitcase was on the floor in front of the door (thus totally blocking it) and the bathroom was a total joke - smaller than one in a camper van I once hired. If there had been room, I would have fallen down laughing. And, as if adding insult to injury, there was a small fridge, which, remarkably, had enough space for a small bottle of water; however, none was provided.
Although situated in an anonymous charmless street, at least the place was near the main train station - the resultant fast getaway being the best part of my stay. Unless you want to pay big bucks to be uncomfortable, try somewhere else.

We stayed here as we had stopped in a Mystays hotel in Tokyo and liked it there. The one was within walking distance of the main train statin with a bag and suitcase.
We were in the block with the Onsen and we used it a couple of times after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful storing our luggage as we arrived early and providing us with umbrellas when there was heavy rain.
We had booked breakfast but if we were staying again we would give it a miss - though the coffee was nice.
The only downside was the size of the room - it was a bit tight as was the bathroom - but it was all spotless and immaculate and there were no smells referred to in another review. We only stayed 2 nights so it was fine for us.
I could recommend a stay here for a couple of nights.

Getting there: If at Kanazawa Station, head out the Kenrokuen Exit and turn left towards Forus Mall. Walk up the street next to Forus. While the hotel is within walking distance of the Kanazawa station, it's I felt still rather a long walk.
The hotel is newish, modern and clean. The room small but very pleasantly decorated though the bathroom was tiny. Most amenities are provided including slippers and kettle but no bottled water. They even provide free samples of DHC products in the lobby. I liked the cleansing oil and later bought a bottle from a drug store.
The laundry was very useful and convenient though we needed to add another hour to the drying cycle.
The neighbourhood is not unsafe but rather a mixed bag of small hotels and small businesses (some of them shabby). There are no convenience shops in the immediate vicinity. There is a Sunkus a couple of blocks away and a Seven-Eleven and Lawson at the Station. There is also a proper supermarket and drug store on the second floor of the Kanazawa Station.
We tried a number of restaurants at the Forus Mall. Our favourite was the Mori-Mori kaiten sushi for good value.
We bought the 500 yen day pass for the Kanazawa bus to get around. Very convenient and 15 min frequency.
We couldn't get hold of a ticket to go to Shirakawa-go so book early if you want to go. If I were to do it over again, I would have planned a couple of nights at Takayama to visit Takayama and Shirakawa-go.

Clean rooms, public bath available, toiletries available at lobby, plenty of ice and vending machine and a laundry room with 4 new machines. Do note that if you have 2 pre-teen kids and an adult, they will make you pay for an upgrade to triple room upon check in. The extra cost is not high and the bigger room is definitely worth it.

Located close to JR station and other sights in area. Room was quite small but the bed was comfortable and a decent size. The bathroom was really small and toilet was on a weird angle but otherwise a good shower. Nice and clean hotel.

Hi,
Per day Yen 2,000 (reserved). Since you have the booking. You can email to them, ask them for reserve the parking. Once you reach there, pay the parking fee at counter.

just follow the direction for the tourist information center, stop there for a map and other info about events in Kanazawa, then you exit the station keep slightly to the left, not difficult to get orientated
