I booked two rooms for my family trip without considering any others, as I have stayed at the other Miyako Hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto, where I always enjoyed. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The hotel staff are very professional, polite, and courteous, but the property is so dated... When I checked in and asked for... More

We stayed here briefly for a night. The location was great as it's right opposite the train station (east gate) and bus station (where you can take the local and tourist buses to various attractions), and it has a convenience store next door. Staff were friendly, room was small but clean. It is evident that the property is dated though.

I had a single room. It was booked as part of a tour so I don't know what the single room rate is. The sleeping area was adequate for one person, with room for checked baggage and a carry-on and still adequate access to the desk and chair. The reception staff was helpful and friendly. The main negative was the... More

This was the last option available as Kanazawa seemed completely booked out. Hotel was opposite station which was convenient. Staff were friendly but the room was tiny so the small double bed was pushed against the wall and there was a small corridor then to the pod bathroom where the taps served the shower and the basin at the same... Bus stops located next to train station. Do not provide computers for guests to use, cost to use computers is 100Y for 10 minutes. Rooms are large and spacious, rooms... More

We stayed in a premium twin room. We asked for a non-smoking floor, but upon entering, our room was drenched in smoke. As my sister has asthma I quickly asked for another room & the young lady @ reception was brilliant! She apologised profusely & promptly let me check another room out. Our stay was pleasant and the new room... More

Clean rooms, enjoyable breakfast complimentary. Located near the Kanazawa Castle and gardens. Excellent desk service. They offer special events and will inform you of them and help arrange if you like.

Stayed here twice, once in Jan 2016 and once in April 2015. The hotel is very conveniently located, just across the street from Kanazawa Station. Yes some furniture is dated, but you must understand that the Miyako chain has a long history, and the Kanazawa one was built in the 1960s. Both times my rooms were clean, and beds were... More

The Pearl Hotel Mizonokuchi is bit up market form the usual medium size Japanese hotel. There was nice decor in the room and a bit more space. The location is isolated with a several block walk to the Mizonokuchi station. The bed, bedding and towels were very nice, specially the towels. The bath was the standard modular plastic unit. The...
