The location of the is excellent near the gardens; better than that of hotels around the station (less noisy). The entrance hall is modern. But the room that we got was old dusty and not well cleaned. Our complaints, especially because I have serious asthma (noted at booking) were not taken serious and we left a day earlier, although our...

The view of the snow covered mountains from our room at the back of the hotel was beautiful, and we enjoyed the deluxe comfort of the room and the attractive public facilities. Our only complaint was the too hot a/c which resisted all attempts to reduce. It is very well located adjacent to the main shopping area and within walking...

Apparently this hotel is also known as the Tokyu REI Hotel, which is how we referred to it. Booked here by a tour for our one-night stay (not long enough) in Kanazawa. Facility looks like a great place for a wedding or convention, as it is quite large with major public rooms. Hotel room was of adequate szie, by Japanese...

Booked for a Standard Twin A room, upgraded to Luxurious Twin B room.... Best stay of the trip (apart from the onsen Ryokan), hands down.. I love Kanazawa, always love this town, and this trip just reaffirms my fondness to the town and this hotel just made my experience with town a lot better. The Good: Location for town attractions-...

A taxi ride from JR through a maze of narrow streets but this location is close to Castle, old town and Gardens. The room we had was very small even by Japanese standards. Almost a corner room with far too much furniture in it to also accommodate two men's international roller suitcases packed for our upcoming ski trip in Nozawa....

Our room (a luxury floor De luxe) had two 4' twin beds and was perfectly comfortable except that there were absolutely no drawers for clothes - the only drawer being taken up by a very large safe. As we were staying for 3 nights this meant that we had to live out of our suitcases which was very inconvenient as...

The hotel makes the major sights accessible on foot; these include the Nakamichi district, the Kenroku-en, the Castle Park and the Omicho (market). This point is significant especially during the spring and autumn during which (cherry blossom or maple) trees at the Kenroku-en are (romantically) lit up during some evenings (so then one can comfortably visit during the day and...

Have you ever visited the Japan Sea side of Japan? I paid a short visit to Kanazawa a few days ago. Now the Japanese maple trees are turning red, orange and yellow in that region, and the sky is blue and high. Just two and half hours from Tokyo by a bullet train you will find the other side of...

This hotel is in a great position - 10 minutes from most of the main sites including the famous garden. From the station you need to take a taxi especially if you have luggage though its a flat, pleasant 20 minute walk to the station largely along an old canal. Our room was a reasonable size with good storage and...

The location of the hotel is excellent. Near wonderful shopping and sites such as the gardens, the samurai district, etc. Rooms are comfortable but on the small side. All of the staff are wonderful. Does anyone know the type of pillow they use? Is it beads or buckwheat? The manufacturer's name? I slept so well, I'd like to buy one
