Hotel Nikko Kanazawa garners high marks for its exceptional service, with guests consistently lauding the staff's attentiveness and hospitality. The amenities also receive accolades for enhancing the luxurious feel of the stay. While the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and views, a few visitors find them slightly cramped or outdated.

Although most guests agree that the hotel provides reasonable value, some feel that certain room features did not meet their expectations.

There was also a meticulous gift for the guest's little anniversary, and an escort to the guest room, which has recently become abbreviated in many luxury hotels. Rooms on the NIKKO floor have the highest level of texture, gold coffee cups and other items to give you a Kanazawa feel, and the bath amenities are of high quality. The breakfast restaurant also has a courteous attendance to the seats, and the attention to detail is wonderful, not only because it is rich in local food such as seafood and Kaga-fu and tastes good, but also because the stacked trays are arranged so that customers can easily pick them up, and the oshibori is placed in the place of the takeaway coffee. It is an orthodox luxury hotel where you can feel the very “Japanese hospitality”. It is also interesting that the lobby is designed and decorated with an awareness of ancient civilizations such as the Orient. Your rating is full mark.

The service of checking in and receiving luggage before and after check-in was good.
There are many kinds of breakfast and it is delicious. The bread was particularly delicious.
Overall, the response of the staff has been very good and I feel safe.
The location is directly underground from Kanazawa Station, so you can go without getting wet.

This was my first time staying here on a business trip. I don't smoke so I requested a non-smoking room, but because it was tourist season, only smoking rooms were available, so I asked for a deodorizing service as a sort of consolation. When I checked in, I was surprised to find that there was no cigarette smell, and I was amazed at how well they handled the situation. Thanks to them, I was able to relax and recover from my fatigue.
Also, I arrived in Kanazawa on the JR line in the rain, and it was nice that it was connected to the station by an underground passage, making it easy to get to and from the hotel. I would like to use this service again next time.

My sister and I who stayed at Hotel Nikko Kanazawa for three days last August.
The hotel is in a great location.
Close to the main train station in the city of Kanazawa, which allows quick access by train to any point you want to reach.
In our case, the short walk of about 100 meters allowed us to get to the high-speed Shinkansen train to Tokyo.
Adjacent to the hotel building and to our delight, there was also a Toyota Rent Car agency where we had to return the car we rented, so returning the rented car was also smooth and pleasant.
The Toyota car drop-off lot is right behind the hotel building.
The hotel is close to the central station, from where the Round Kanazawa bus departs, allowing the average tourist to get around the city in all the main attractions in a comfortable way and return to the hotel.
The hotel itself is modern and the hotel staff is happy to help in any way and in any situation.
The room itself was large and modern and equipped with everything you need.
The breakfast was excellent and rich, despite a slight inclination towards Japanese cuisine.
We will be happy to come for another visit to the wonderful city and hotel (hopefully soon).

It is located about 6 minutes (260 m) walk from the west exit of JR Shinkansen Kanazawa Station, along Prefectural Route 146.
When it rains, you can enter from the Porte Kanazawa Building via the passage on the first basement floor of the Kenrokuen Exit (East Exit) of Kanazawa Station.
This time, I used my birthday voucher to reserve a 31 m2 room, Comfort Twin Bedroom (non-smoking/31 m2), located on the 21st to 23rd floors.
I used a one-level upgrade voucher at the check-in desk to upgrade from a Comfort Twin Bedroom (non-smoking/31 m2) to a Luxe Twin Bed on the 28th floor.
The view of the Sea of Japan and Kanazawa Station is wonderful.
The room is clean, and the bathroom, refreshment room, and toilet are in separate rooms.
The room is spacious, and there is a sofa to enjoy the view.
The bed is just the right hardness and is very good.
Check-in and check-out are smooth and good.
There is also a convenience store nearby, which is convenient for daily shopping.

Although we didn't have dinner there, we were treated very courteously when we visited the cafe, which was to be expected. The room was spacious and my family was pleased. The bathroom was separate, making it easy to use and we were able to relax in the bathtub. It's rare to find a hotel that provides bath salts, so this was a nice addition. The staff were very friendly and we had a pleasant stay.
We'll definitely come back to stay here again.

It's about a 2-minute walk from Kanazawa station and the tallest hotel from the station, so I arrived without hesitation.
The room is comfortable with a large double bed taken as a single.
Bathroom is a unit.
The amenities are fully equipped.
There is a good view to the sea.
I regret not having breakfast on this occasion. I wish I had...
It was convenient with good access and a convenience store nearby.
Dinner bars can be reached by bus or within a short taxi ride.

I stayed at a hotel near the station on my trip to Nagano, Toyama, Kanazawa, and Fukui, which took me to many places by Shinkansen. I checked in 200m from Tsuzumimon via the underground mall. The Kanazawa sushi and Kaga kaiseki at Benkei on the 6th floor were great, but the Maimon Sushi in the station building was also nearby, which was great. It was a 9-minute taxi ride to Higashi Chaya District and a 13-minute taxi ride to Kenrokuen, so it was convenient. It was an old-fashioned bath with a shower in the bathtub, but it was nice to be able to lie down for a long time. I stayed two nights and the curtains were hard and blackout-free, which was a relief. The Kaga ingredients in the morning buffet were fun, and the kintoki greens were great. But the cafeteria closed at 7pm, which was a minus point.

We were upgraded as part of our One Harmony benefits, and enjoyed an even more comfortable room. The bath and toilet were separate, and the bathroom had a large washing area, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. Late check-out was also a nice perk, and we were able to take a shower and feel refreshed after exploring Kanazawa Castle and Omicho Market.
Our favorite "Night Flight" is only open on Tuesdays, so this time we had bar time in the "Sky Lounge", where there was piano music, and combined with the night view from the 30th floor, we were able to spend an elegant time. The Benkei breakfast was also a very comfortable and elegant time.
The staff are all cheerful, so we always enjoy our stay.

Hanson Chua asked a question July 2018
Ilocos Norte Province, Philippines247 contributions102 helpful votesDoes this hotel have a pool? Indoor, lapping? Any type of pool?
No nothing, and it is lacking
Would love to help you with this question, unfortunately only stopped over night and did not need to use the laundry, check our their individual web page and it would mention whether they had laundry or not. A lot of the hotels in Japan have laundry facilities which are coin operated.
Hi Robert
We used their laundry service and found the prices reasonable, but can’t remember exact cost. Hand in before 10.00 am to receive back same day between 5.00 and 6.00 pm.
Hi
Unfortunately not but nice surroundings to take a brisk walk!
Fantastic restaurants tho!
Enjoy!
Japanese hotels usually go by age + bed plan.
- Children above 12 years old pay full price.
- Children 12 years and below with their own bed pay full (sometimes discounted) price.
- Children 12 years and below sharing bed stay free of charge.
The email of the reservations desk at the hotel is found right at the bottom of the home page. Tried to include it here, but it is not allowed.
Hope it helps.
