Detailed Reviews
Hotel was really clean, very welcome, cozy and near the station. Luckily I booked a mid-size room which provides me enough space for both of us and also space for luggages. In-room toilet was quite large comparing to other original hotel with bath tub which i can spread both of my arms in toilets while i was taking showers which was so good. Things that I do feels about this hotel is that they do care about guests in details like the selection of materials and location of facilities. Moreover breakfast was really nice with selection of pizza. Pizza was sooo good with authentic aroma of ingredients. Special thanks to Mr.Bedeyes the pizza maker and which i think he also the chef of this restaurant. He has done a really good job with pizza, which I have a little talk with him before he provides me a special dish for both of us.

Modern room, with very functional bathroom, nice also the onsen. Breakfast is excellent, with typical Kanazawa foods. In the reception is available everything for the bathroom, also there are pajamas, in short you do not need to have anything with you. Location one step away from the station.

This hotel is extremely good. Situated behind the main bus/rail station it is ideally placed for getting round town by bus and the great shopping malls and food courts in and around the station.Â
The service was excellent, especially the lobby staff with outstanding English. The rooms are of a very high standard with all the usual amenities. There is a 7 Eleven on the first floor which is a real help.Â
But...the breakfast. The hotel has an Italian restaurant (Italian seems to be very popular in Japan), and this is where guests go for breakfast. The breakfast is strange. Lots of Japanese options, plus Italian antipasti, seafood pasta and even pizza. I have spent a LOT of time in Italy both privately and on business and I can GUARANTEE, even Italians don't eat pizza for breakfast. No muesli, no cornflakes - just strange. Fix this, it will be perfect!

The hotel is nice, clean and all the staff are friendly as usual here in Japan. Unfortunately the staff does not speak English and this is a serious handicap. Yesterday I had to have my travel agent talk to the receptionist to figure out how to get my luggage picked up by the prepaid courier. Breakfast is served in a ground floor restaurant that is too small (only 15 tables) for a hotel that can accommodate hundreds of guests. The wait for breakfast is very long during peak hours. We had dinner in the same restaurant and I couldn't pay with a credit card because the POS was out of order. It wasn't even possible to charge the room so I had to make a withdrawal at the ATM.

It is a small hotel with facilities appropriate to its small size. It has the advantage of being 100 meters from the train station. It has friendly staff but barely speaks English. Breakfast is not bad. The rooms are small but beautiful and provide a good night's sleep.

Hotel near the Kanazawa train and bus station, shopping centers and a 20-minute walk from Omicho market.
Well-equipped and comfortable rooms. Attentive and friendly staff. Below the hotel there is a 7eleven supermarket and a pizzeria.

Stayed here for a night (without breakfast) as part of a one-day trip to Kanazawa.
Location-wise, this is within comfortable 5-minute walking distance from the Kanazawa Station/ Bus Terminal. This is a good base if you have connecting buses or trains to catch to travel to other cities.
The room was comfortable, and bigger than what was typical of business hotel room sizes in Tokyo. Had a big king-sized bed too. There is a 7-11 right next door, so it’s easy to grab some snacks. There are also many food options (including souvenir shopping) at the Kanazawa Station nearby.
I am glad to have stayed at Daiwa Roynet at Kanazawa.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. You feel like you’re staying at a 4 star luxury hotel but you are paying budget prices. I paid ~$78 each night for two nights and feel like I got a great deal.
Bathing room is separated from the toilet and sink. It’s super luxe! The included toiletries are also top quality. My room had a massager chair that was fun to use. Giant king sized bed was comfortable with soft pillows.
Hotel is right on top of a 7-11 so you can easily get snacks. There are complimentary coffee and fruit drinks in the hotel lobby.
You can buy all the souvenirs you like at the Kanazawa train station - and then easily edrop off your stuff at the hotel before going out for dinner
This is not a knock on the hotel but there are limited dinner options if you arrive too late at the Kanazawa station. Your food options are limited to the restaurants in the train station, which have Last Call orders at 9PM or 9:30PM. You can't order food after that even if the restaurants themselves are still open.
But hey, you can always eat at the 7-11 downstairs?

A new hotel, very clean and tidy
Poor soundproofing, trains, corridor and lift.
Small rooms for the money
Liked the bathroom set up.
The laundry was rubbish. Big wash and dry machines, very inefficient, poor drying, no instructions, repeat visits to see that is happening. Took ages and expensive.
