Detailed Reviews
This was my first experience in ryokan accommodation and it was quite pleasant! The ryokan is quite small but sufficient. We stayed as part of a school group and they were very welcoming and the hosts were lovely. Breakfast was great and the staff were rushing around busily looking after us. Would stay here again just to support the lovely owners, they were fantastic. Great location to the Kanazawa station also.

My first experience with a ryokan in Japan. The Inn is conveniently located about 200 m from the railway station. Very close to the loop bus to travel to most of the tourist sites you will want to visit. On arrival the hosts were very pleasant and check in was completed without incident. We were shown to our rooms which were very comfortable and clean.
No request was to much for the hosts. They supplied the use of their fridge to keep drinks cold and also provided ice when required. Breakfast was traditional japanese food.
The hosts were able to understand English which made life a little easier.
Would recommend this inn to anyone wishing to stay in a traditional bed and breakfast.

+1
Anybody who wants to feel the warm atmosphere of a Japanese home should go for this ryokan. This traditional Japanese hotel run since 1919 by several generations of the same family offers high level service combined with the hospitality of real friends. Great traditional Japanese breakfast with green tea, yukata bathrobes to wear in, unforgettable experience in an "old school" bath... not enough words to praise the fantastic owners!
