We came and check in at a hotel near the Matsumoto Castle, and fell in love with this small city and the castle view. As like other small city in Japan, this small town was enchanting and give a peaceful feeling to visitors. A very suitable tourist destination for a 1-2 days trip.

Ogni volta che vado in Giappone, prenoto una o più notti all'interno di un ryokan, l'esperienza è straordinaria. Per come si viene coccolati dalla cameriera personale, dall'onsen privato che ti permette dopo una giornata di massacrante camminata di poterti "sciogliere" e quasi addormentarti sotto il getto dell'acqua bollente, dalle particolarità che la cucina del luogo ti offre e dal dormire per terra. Il Matsumoto in particolare è abbastanza lussuoso per la media dei ryokan visti ma pur sempre un pò spartano. Altra pecca, alla quale cmq in qualche modo si riesce ad ovviare, è la mancanza totale della conoscenza dell'inglese da parte delle ragazze.

一人でブラブラと散策中に，趣のある門構えに魅かれ，「商い中」の看板に昼食の品書きを見ると本日の定食（牡蛎フライ，鯵フライ）以下全て800円の鍋ラーメン等10種程度品書きに，何だったか忘れたが（うどんだったか？）650円だったかのものが二種類。料亭ぽいのだが，昼は安いのかなと入ってみる。
牡蛎フライを注文。牡蛎フライ（六つ）に刻みキャベツのサラダ，小鉢が烏賊ゲソ，ワカメと胡瓜の和物，箸休めの漬物に豆腐とナメコの味噌汁，御飯は小さめの茶碗ながらも山盛り。味噌汁が大変美味しかった。混んでは居ない，平日の昼食時間であったのだが。後から入ってきた客は，どうもラーメン類を注文する声が多かったようだ。
お昼の定食屋としては中々宜しいのではないだろうか。価格も質も量も。
しかしである，ふらっと入ってみたstraingerの私は何か違和感があったのである。何というか，程度の高い割烹旅館であるとのことだが，それはつい先日迄はという様な気がするのであって，（失礼ながら）経営が行き詰まったのか，或いは旅館部分は廃業してしまったのか，何となく散らかっており，うらぶれた飲屋の昼定食といった雰囲気なのである。だからって悪い訳なのでは無いのだが．．．．．
（レストランとしての登録は無いようなので，ホテルの項に記載した。）
