This is a very relaxing inn where you can enjoy carefully prepared kaiseki meals in your room. We chose the smaller kaiseki course (Moonlight), which was just right for a couple in their 50s, and we were impressed by how carefully each dish was prepared. The portions were perfect for anyone who wants to eat a bite of something delicious. The sauna and open-air baths are compact and are alternately for men and women, but they are new and feel great. You can see the stars from the relaxation area. The baths, which are open 24 hours a day, are not that large, but they are always reserved, so we were able to enjoy the hot springs to our heart's content. We would definitely like to go again.

I felt like the atmosphere here was like an old house. There were knickknacks everywhere, and the second floor had things like a random exercise machine, a display about someone's wedding, and a (free!) massage chair with worn buttons. None of the baths were decorated very much at all.
But! That doesn't mean the service wasn't great! There were way more amenities available here than you can usually find (mouthwash, makeup remover, etc.). We got dinner AND breakfast in the room (I feel like room breakfast is rare?), and the food was amazing.
It's a great choice if you just want a place where you can chill in your room.
