The rooms were small but modern and good. Breakfast was oké but we have had better in otter hotels. I would feel much more welcome if it would be possible to take coffee or tea during the day downstairs. They close the coffee machine after breakfast. In otter hotels That is better organised.

A beautiful hotel. Conveniently located not too far from Takayama Station or the Old Town. A small onsen (an onsen tax of 150 yen per person) but it was clean and good facilities. Very comfortable beds. Great buffet breakfast. Bikes available. Highlight was the fact that guests are encouraged to use the lounge area which creates a great atmosphere and is a much better alternative than congregating in tiny rooms. Very clean and well appointed.

This hotel has great location, walking distance to Morning Markets, restaurants. Onsen open until nighttime, so relaxing after a long day of walking around. One of their front desk staff who worked the night shift (cannot remember her name), was extremely friendly and helpful, and spent time showing us where to find places on her map. Since our visit was during the Sanno Festival time, taxis were very busy. But she persisted and called 3 taxi companies to find us a driver for the day and time we wanted. I would stay in the same hotel again because of her excellent customer service!

It’s a pleasant hotel and our room was in good order and well equipped. The big downside was the size of our room. We had to store our medium size suitcases under the bed - they would just fit. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was OK. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. Location was good - 10 minute walk to the station and loads of restaurants within easy walking distance. For the price, couldn’t grumble.

Very well located hotel with exemplary cleanliness. The hotel is within walking distance of all major attractions, restaurants and activities. The neighborhood is very quiet. The rooms are small but very well organized. The bed is raised to put luggage underneath. Free refreshments were given at certain times.

Walking distance to train or bus station. Helpful staff, doesn't always speak English but uses a translation app. Great check-in, neat spacious comfortable rooms [402], with bottles of water offered. At certain times onsen opened. The old town is close by, and every morning there is a morning market along the river, nice. Several restaurants and attractions nearby.
