The hotel is very close to Takayama Station with various convenience stores nearby. It is within walking distance to the old town and the hotel provides maps in many languages. They also held onto our luggage's as we had arrived prior to the check-in time....More

A very old and in need of repairs and updating Hotel.Very close to the Taroko and Main train station,so convenient.Onsen was good. Breakfast was good and included in the price.The beds were comfortable and big.A bit noisy from the trains just outside the window.

From memory there were three floors that were completely non smoking. I believe when we booked it we put it under the "special requests" section of the booking form. (We put it in Eng and in Jap just to cover all bases... More
