Have stayed at this hotel now 3 times over the past 6 months for business in Nagoya. Hotel is very close and easy walking distance to Nagoya Central Station so very easy to take the express train from the airport to and from the hotel. Lots of restaurants, pubs, etc. to eat at in this area. Hotel staff is extremely...

We stayed at the hotel for over a month while we waited for our apartment to be ready. (We moved to Japan temporarily for work, and will be here at least 2 years.) The staff has been wonderful to our family. The front desk has made sure we didn't leave without an umbrella when the weather report wasn't good, the...

This hotel is an old Sofitel which explains, why the standing is (still) great in the hotel. The rooms are large and I have actually not noticed something negative. The service is outstanding. The hotel is right in a bar and restaurant area with a lot of stuff to do. I really liked it there. The main train station is...

Stayed this hotel the first time in more than 5 years, the owner company is supposed to be changed, however still they keep good enough atmosphere and services in terms of the reasonable cost and roomy room, however hotel itself is compact size. Around 5 min walk from Nagoya station and lots of restaurants, shops and bars exist around the...

I stayed at the Cypress for the first time this past week. It was a pleasant surprise for sure. Location is great being so close to Nagoya station and additionally, there are many food options very nearby. This includes western options for those traveling from overseas. Only complaint would've been that I thought the price was a bit high for...

The location of the hotel is so execellent as it is about 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the main train station(Nagoya Station) and the underground train is very close by too. The room is quite big for the Japanese standard which is another good point for this hotel, apart from the hotel location. We found it to be...

Clean and conveniently located hotel. About 10 minutes walk to JR station. As we booked into a triple sharing room, we were pleasantly surprised that the toilet was separate from the powder basin area; allowing each of us to use the toilet at different times. For the ladies, the powder basin area also came with a X5 mirror ..

I have stayed in several hotels throughout Japan and they are all pretty much the same with some of the reception staff being well versed in English and some nor so proficient. At the Mercure the English was excellent and very friendly and happy people whether morning afternoon or night. The biggest impression was the service you receive at breakfast...

The hotel is very close to the Nagoya Station. It is not that hard to find it neither. The hotel is clean and well looked after. A carpet on the hallway is very soft and comfortable to walk on. A size of the room is decent and the bed is nice to sleep on. They put extra pad on the...

Room very clean and quite spacious compared to some hotel rooms in Japan. Quite stingy on the tea and coffee supplies. They want to charge 400 yen for the coffee, two stingy green tea bags supplied only. No milk no sugar. Good location within short walk to JR station.
