you can experience Japanese style house here! It's not a large and busy hostel so you feel at home! The reception is friendly but very polite! you may never feel lonely! so I didn't mind small inconvenience! I want to stay here again for cherry blossoms;))))))))))

If you want to experience staying in a traditional japanese house, stay at this hostel. The look, design and even the toilet is traditional. The place is warm and all except for that one staff that is very snooty. Maybe he is having a bad day. Anyway the rest of the staff are helpful and accommodating. You can rent towels...

I really enjoyed this little hostel. It was different than all the other hostels I stayed at in Japan in that it was like staying in a small Japanese house (where the others were very large hotel style hostels). Nice quiet residential neighborhood. Easy walk from the train station and a lot of restaurants and a few bars by the...

Spent 5 nights here in June. I found it overpriced for a private room with 3 beds. Cramped quarters, lacking in cleanliness, too many beds in this hostel for the 2 showers, sinks and toilets available. I spent just a little more in Kyoto for a beautiful room with much better shared amenities. Look some more before you book hostel...

Booked over the internet, my first experience of hostels in Japan. The staff were very helpful. There was one night in the middle of my stay where they were already fully booked so Asako made a reservation for me in a business hotel just around the corner at the same time as confirming my stay and let me leave my...

We finished a conference in Nagoya University and decided to take a day off before going back. The hostel is about 10 minutes from Kanayama station (on foot) and the neighborhood is very quiet. We stayed at room G (private 4-bed room) on the first floor. There are only two charging outlets in the room, which is not quite enough...

A very central location, very close to Kanayama station and plenty of shops. The hostel has very nice staff and a surprisingly well equipped kitchen. One of the few hostels I've been in to have cable TV also (in Japan). Would highly recommend.

We stayed in Hostel Ann for 3 nights (8 bed mixed dorm). Hostel itself is located very close to Kanayama JR/Meitetsu/Subway station, just only about 5 min walk away. The area has a lot of restaurants and a big shopping mall next to the station. Lovely Nordic cafe just round the corner from the hostel too. It's easy access to...

I remember is that's a breakfast behind Ann hostel but forgetting the name and breakfast so unique prepare by retired seniors...

Stayed in March 2015 with the group of six. Location; about 15 mins walk from the train station and nearby attraction. There are lot of restaurants and malls. Hotel; I think with just 2 shower rooms for the whole hostel which can cater for more than 40 ppls are quite limiting. Maybe it is because due to the scheduled Nagoya...
