We were two women travellers staying at the Bedouin Garden Village for a week in late May. The look of the place is very appealing, bohemic. Small but nice pool and many guests in comparison to the nearby hotels. The staff helped us with a trip to both Petra and to Wadi Rum, we believe they took a comission for...

I've stayed here twice previously and would probably stay here again. The staff/owner is very friendly and accommodating. They have no problem if you BYOB, and they will even refrigerate it for you. It's cheap and has a lot of character, especially the outdoor lounging areas which are quite Dahab-like. The rooms a mixed bag--first time I had a nice...

yeah we heard all the stories about dirty rooms and unfriendly staff but our room was spotless and apart from the mandatory smell from the shower drain(don,t think I've stayed anywhere in th whole of asia without this) it was perfect. The food was a little slow due to the chef leaving recently but the rest of the team were...

I liked this hotel and its facilities. The pool was small but big enough for cooling off in after sunbathing. The rooms are great, although I had to change on arrival as the room I was given had not been cleaned. However, this was no problem and I was accommodated immediately. I found the staff friendly and helpful and I...

1) if you've been in a bedouin village you will know immediately that this place has nothing to do with the Bedouins. If a Bedouin comes, he will probably be asked not to come back ... and this I witnessed with my own eyes. 2) most of the staff is very lazy. If you ask for something it takes a...

I gotta commend this village on it's incredible staff. professional staff, helpful, and very accommodating to personal needs and requirements. I spent there three nights and didn't want to leave as I have constantly been impressed by how pleasant my stay was. Clean, luxurious rooms with a staff that is always ready to serve and pretty good food, though alittle...

On the plus front, this place is close to the sea with a good patch of reef to explore; the waiting staff are charming, and it is cheap. Negatives are that it is deeply grubby, from the scuffed & dusty cushions in the common areas where everyone outs their feet up (literally) to the excrement-smeared waste bin in the bathroom...

The reviews which is about cleanness, we were doing some maintenance and instructions at that time to improve our service and hotel. We do welcome constructive comments, they write-up out of line and we have proven records of our quality standards. At the same time we wish to apologize for any shortcomings with kind regards.

After being tired from travelling, we arrived around noon looking forward to have a shower and a clean room. However we were welcomed by a snotty arrogant receptionist (Ihad) who made a judgemental face when we showed no interest in diving or snorkeling because we were meeting up friends in town. We stayed in room 18 for which they wanted...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bedouin Garden is a cozy place and lovely relaxing oasis right on the Red Sea----perfect for swimming and snorkeling and also a good location for diving and making a trip to Petra and Wadi Rum. Our rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, the outdoor "tent" lounge area with rugs and pillows and a fragrant wood fire is a lovely place to relax in the evenings and use your laptop with WiFi free of charge. ..literally a 100m walk to the edge of the sea - with the Japanese Gardens coral reef just there- amazing snorkeling. Also rooms air conditioned with the best bathroom. The views of the bay and the mountains are beautiful. There are lots of places to sit and relax, including by the pool. and have a great BBQ restaurant with fresh food. ... more   less
