We recently ended our honeymoon at the Royal Chundu after visiting Cape Town and a Safari in Sabi Sands. We absolutely loved it! We took a helicopter transfer from the airport which included a tour of Victoria Falls. As soon as we arrived, the staff was so kind and welcoming. The food and service here were top notch. We stayed...

This is the best place to visit in Zambia, right on the doorstep of the mighty Zambezi. Best people, best accomodation, best food with the best chef, best resort manager and managares, best waiters and best tiger fishing with best skipper. You are treated here as a KING and don't want to leave. Will definately return in future.

On arrival you will be blown away by Royal Chundu. Service, food, location all are 5 star +. Thank you to the team for looking after me during my stay. I hope to visit again as soon as I can, which will not be in the too distant future.

From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with Royal Chundu. The rooms are wonderful with fabulous views of the river. To us, they were an " African "experience. Any minute I thought Robert Redford or Meryl Steep would walk in. There was nothing that the staff could not take care of. It seemed that the staff was there...

We spent 3 nights here during Our 20th wedding anniversary trip. We were spoiled on so many levels, from smiling staff's service (many local), to the beautiful room, to delicious food specific to our vegetarian needs, to exceptional outings on and around the Zambezi River and to Victoria Falls. This place is a bit of heaven, and also importantly is...

I'm not sure there are enough superlatives to describe our stay (a friend and me) at Royal Chundu. We did this at the end of a 2 week trip to Zambia, and it was a great way to end the trip. Yes it is about an hour ride from the airport, but you need to do that to get to...

Royal Chundu far exceeded expectations. Our gorgeous thatched cottage on the Mighty Zambezi was decorated in opulent colonial style with impeccable service from Aggie and her staff. You are awakened each morning with coffee in your cottage served on antique silver pieces. A lovely presentation. You can relax by the beautiful infinity pool or take part in the many activities...

We were at the end of a 3 week trip to South Africa and Zambia and were tired. We had selected Royal Chundu because it is located far enough from town to avoid the tourist traffic yet close enough to allow us to take in Victoria Falls. The resort is 5 star in every aspect: the food, the staff, the...
