We visited Waterberry as part of a long trip. It was our first stop. All the staff were extremely pleasant and wellcoming. Went on the sunset cruise with sundowners. Saw some wildlife. Went on the village tour also. On our visit to Victoria falls went over also to the Zimbabwe side. Most reccommended. Waterberry were overall excelent from the drivers,...

We stayed at Waterberry for three nights in the lovely farmhouse. The location is literally on the banks of the Zambezi which is beautiful and Hippos come into the garden at night - but you are quite safe. The accommodation is not luxurious but extremely comfortable with all mod cons. You can eat outside on the terrace and our personal...

We decided to return to Waterberry, even though our preferred dates were not available. We had wanted to go at the end of the holiday but that was not possible and had decided not to do a safari this time. We arrived at Vic Falls airport in torrential rain and as usual were picked up by a staff car. It...

what a super way to get to know the area around Victoria Falls. If you'd rather stay out of town a bit (or away from the majority of people who come to Victoria Falls, the Waterberry Lodge is a wonderful destination. In addition to daily tours to the falls (each group of guests has its own guide!), the lodge offers...

This lodge isn't just a wonderful small place with well-kept individual thatched-roof cottages, great food, and extremely friendly staff -- it's a business that gives back to its community. Using Waterbury as our base, we explored Victoria Falls, visited various local markets, and enjoyed two sunset boat rides -- all of which were included in the cost of our stay....

My wife and I started the wilderness portion of our vacation at Waterberry and we were happy our outfitter picked it! The lodge is a 30 minute (+/-) drive to Victoria Falls and feels like a tranquil oasis. The main lodge overlooks the Zambezi and from its comfortable sitting areas hippos, birds, and other wildlife can be seen. The dock...

You don't feel like a tourist here but you do get to feel part of a family. Many of the staff come from the local village which means that the hotel has a strong community connection. The location by the river is very peaceful and gives a true Africa sensation. The team environment amongst the staff shines through and we...

Waterberry Lodge is the perfect place to stay when visiting Livingstone and Victoria Falls. We were given a very warm welcome and introduction to the Lodge and what was included in our stay. We had riverside accommodation with resident hippo,Humphrey, close by. The river trips are amazing with sightings of hippos and many different birds. The guides are very good...

Absolutely gorgeous property and overall experience at the river farmhouse on the banks of the Zambezi. A truly charming lodge and very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to consult shadwick about the wildlife, pasco on anything and Evelyn on her superb cooking. A wonderful experience and one we would like to have again. Don't hesitate to try...
