The hotel sits on one of the best area on Indian Ocean in Aden. It has one of the best beaches ever. I love it. Aside from its old furniture, it is ideal for family, and vacation. I stayed in this hotel more than 10 times. Every time it is a special experience.

The only thing I really liked about this hotel is the beach, even though it needs some staff to keep it clean as it's somewhat polluted with garbage. Rooms are kind of small, and the design of the hotel lobby and restaurant is very outdated, and the hotel in general needs serious rehabilitation work in order to make it more...

My overall impression is above average on the hotel , it was a 5 star once but now I would give it 3 or 3.5, they were out of pillows and blankets , if you ask the front desk they will tell you to buy your own from local market . It requires them a lot to respond to your...

Once a very attractive Sheraton, now disappearing quickly due to security problems in the area and the disappearance of a reasonable tourist industry. Still fascinating, with the best beach in Aden and surroundings. Helpful staff minimize the problems related to the poor infrastructure maintenance. But food is good and basic dinner at the beach very relaxing. Avoid the swimming pool,...

It is fun to look back on..... Great beach if you like sharks.....the shark net is rotted off at the waters surface..... The staff is doing their very best with what they have and the Yemeni people are very nice.....

Lovely hotel. Pleasant service. Clean rooms. Brilliant location. It is a bizarre experience staying in this place; the location is 5*, the weather is 5*. The hotel is clearly old-stock-Sheraton sold-on to a Yemeni company, I would guess and is starting to fall to bits. But falls to bits with style. I didn't eat in the hotel, chossing to eat...

Fantastic location , beautiful beach , friendly staff really they are doing their best ,the price is good but in fact the hotel rooms need renewal and the spa area is below average , anyway it is the best in Aden.

The hotel is quite old and time took it's toll. Lobby and restaurant look nice but the rooms are outdated (especially the bathroom). Staff was very friendly and helpfull. I would not recommend Aden as a nice tourist destination, but if you have to be in the city Gold Mohur is okay to stay.

The staff were friendly and the room was fine although the whole place needs to be renovated. Unfortunately it is not possible to open the windows. The breakfast was excellent. The bathroom was nice and had a bath. The private beach is great and makes the stay worth it. It is about 20 minutes drive from town.

My wife and I recently spent a long weekend here. The place has gone down hill a lot since it was a Sheraton many years ago when we first stayed here. The Pink Pearl and the Fish Market restaurants are now closed and the only option is the all-day dining restaurant. The fare is okay, but there aren't many options...
