We had a great stay at M Hotel Danang and enjoyed many aspects of our experience. Our room was beautiful, offering a perfect view of the ocean—a truly stunning sight to wake up to each morning. While we knew in advance that the rooms don’t have balconies, it would have been a wonderful addition to fully take in the ocean breeze.
The hotel itself is modern, sleek, and very clean, though the overall atmosphere felt a bit cold and minimalistic. The location is fantastic, right across from the beach and within walking distance of many great restaurants, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
One area that could use improvement is the service at the pool bar. We found the staff to be a bit inexperienced when it came to service etiquette, and we had unnecessary difficulties when trying to charge food and drinks to our room—something we’ve never encountered at other hotels. This was a bit frustrating and hopefully something that can be improved with better training.
The rooftop infinity pool is definitely a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. However, the prime lounging area overlooking the ocean is quite small, with only about six lounge chairs available, making it difficult to get a spot.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay—the modern design, ocean views, and prime location make this a great option in Danang. With some fine-tuning in service and minor improvements, it could be an even better experience.

My husband and I are on our honeymoon trip. Prior checked in with the hotel, I emailed the hotel staff and letting them know we are here for our honeymoon. Staffs acknowledged and settings up the room with mini cake, local dessert, bed declaration with the towel art ( the swans ), and prepared the hot tub with flowers as well. They did such an amazing job, last they also gave us 2 free vouchers for steam bath at Lim Dim Spa located on 27th floor. I will definitely come back to M Hotel Da Nang again if I plan to revisit with our families members. My husband and I enjoyed the hotel so much. Highly recommend.

Good location in the newer part of DANang, across beautiful MyKhe beach. Though the hotel does not have sunbeds available on the beach, these are easily available by independent providers at a small charge and towels are provided. This arrangement gives local people an opportunity to provide a service and earn a living. The beach is very clean and there is a good walking pavement along the length of the beach leading to the more lively areas. Plenty of shops, restaurants, spas and massage places within walking distance. Grab taxi is readily available if you want to venture further out. Check in is at 2 pm and we’d arrived a couple of hours prior to that but there was no flexibility of getting your room before 2pm on the DOT though there was luggage storing facility. Hoa, the guest relation officer looked after us throughout our 3 night stay and gave us some useful recommendations. Our room was on the 16th floor with part city view and part seaview. Spacious room, comfortable bed, effective rain shower looking onto the sea. Complimentary afternoon tea with mainly sweet treats. Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit, hot cooked European and Asian food, selection of bread and pastries, coffee and tea selection as well as a separate vegetarian breakfast menu. The infinity pool is lovely but not heated. Limited seating area around the pool. Good value for money hotel and would recommend to friends and family visiting DANang.

Location: 8/10 The location is excellent and earns a solid 8 out of 10.
Everything Else: 2/10 or 3/10 Unfortunately, most other aspects of this hotel fall far short of expectations.
Price: This is the most expensive hotel in the area, likely due to its newer status compared to nearby options. However, the high price does not justify the quality or experience provided.
Room Design and Quality: While the room was spacious, the design and construction left much to be desired. We stayed in the most expensive suite, and the flaws were glaring:
Bathroom Design: The master bathroom sinks were poorly designed, with faucets protruding nearly a foot, creating a hazard where you could easily hit your face. Shower and Toilet Layout: The shower was directly adjacent to the toilet, and due to the poor design and enclosure, water frequently overflowed into the toilet area. Non-Functional Features: The room attempted to appear high-end with features like curtain/blind buttons, but none of them worked—they were purely decorative and useless. Lack of Insulation: There was no soundproofing at all. At 6 AM, we were woken up by our neighbor blasting the news. Facilities: The fitness center and common areas were decent but unremarkable. They were comparable to any standard hotel and did not stand out in any way.
Breakfast: The breakfast was particularly disappointing, especially for Vietnamese guests familiar with authentic cuisine.
Basic Vietnamese dishes like bánh cuốn and other rice flour-based dishes were served at room temperature, even though they should be served hot. The pho was just okay, and the bánh mì was terrible. Overall, the quality was subpar compared to breakfasts we've enjoyed at other hotels in Saigon, Nha Trang, and similar areas. Perhaps for foreign visitors unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine, this might seem excellent, but for those who know better, it was underwhelming.
Conclusion: While the location is convenient, the price, poor room design, substandard breakfast, and lack of functional features make this hotel a poor choice, especially at its premium price point. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, as the value simply isn’t there.

I recently stayed at the M hotel for 2 nights. This is a new hotel and comes at a high price compared to other beach facing hotels in Da Nang and so I had high expectations for the price I paid. Upon arrival I was instructed by a staff sit in the waiting area of the lobby as my room was not ready. That was not a problem as I arrived 20 minutes earlier than the check in time which is 2pm. What I was disappointed in was there was no friendly greeting or smiles from any of the staff. A staff member came over when my room was ready and again no smile or welcome. He just sat there, handed me a paper with a long list of the strict hotel rules and regulations, and went through the list with me pointing out the dos and don'ts. I understand hotels have rule's but I've never been sat down and had an unfriendly staff member go through them and point them out to me. I had just come from a lovely hotel Hoi An where the staff couldn't to enough for their customers and every time they saw me greeted me warmly and asked if I needed anything to let them know. So to come from that to this soulless hotel was disappointing. I booked a ocean front room with a view which was very big and luxurious. The hotel supplied 2 very small bottles of water daily. I rang and asked for an extra bottle of water the response from the staff member was " didn't you already get a bottle today?" I said I needed water to take medication. The breakfast at this hotel is terrible. Very limited selection and stale pastries and bread. For the high prices, this hotel charges I was not expecting such poor food quality. Such a shame because this is a beautiful hotel but I cannot recommend it.

The hotel is modern , minimalist with a contemporary feel. It’s is a Vietnamese chain and priced at top price point . The staff are very helpful and professional. The view from the roof is very good. Bear in mind when booking that the pool is too cold to swim in the cold season (December to March). The hotel is beach front but sits across a very busy main road. If you are looking for a nice modern hotel around bars, massage shops and cafes etc this fits the bill. Some of the area outside is still very run down and not kept in good condition. If you want something secluded and direct beach access then a resort hotel further down would be a good choice but without anything outside the hotels. We did both options. With the use of grab I personally prefer a resort type hotel further down towards Hoi An

We had a wonderful time at the M hotel . I loved everything about this hotel. The elegant décor of the rooms, top-notch amenities, and high-quality services are the prime attractions of this hotel. I especially love the ECO design, the guest room floors are designed to take fresh air in to minimize the use of Air conditioner. Meet what the hotel said about itself “Escape to paradise and enter a world where nature meets luxury”. We stayed three nights in this new hotel. It’s situated along the beachfront so we were able to enjoy the view of the waves from all bedrooms. We love the spaciousness of the rooms and the modern minimalistic decor. My children loved their room with the bunk bed. Place is very clean and all linen and bedding smell good. In my opinion, the housekeeping is exceptional.
Very good value for money too as we enjoyed complimentary tea, steam bath and sauna and even 30% discount on the massage. I did the Swedish massage and was impressed by the skill of the masseur.
Special kudos to the friendly staff who speak excellent English. Ms Mai Hoa greeted all of us and gave us recommendations on possible gifts and souvenirs for our family and friends, while Mr Duc Hoang helped us with our luggage and drove us to the airport while telling us more about local delights of Vietnam. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

The room I booked was on 10th floor. The interior design is industrial one so kinda like cold tone. If you arriving during hot summer, best thing. The room is very clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast and afternoon tea are included. I love their breakfast the best. It made my day for sure. The location of the hotel is perfect for me (1st comer) as I found street massage behind and the beach up front whilst the best seafood (Be Ni 2) just on the left (need some walking distance tho). I totally love this hotel. Just one thing to note, best choose rooms or suite above 20th floor cuz the traffic noise could be awakening (mine was on 10th floor).
Upon arrival, hotel reception staff treated me very well and very friendly. They immediately sat me down and explained all the terms and conditions to me. One of the their staff members, a Guest Relations Officer, named Miss Hoa Pham, is very very professional. She had been leading me all the way to my room. She definitely knew her job and the hotel very well. Upon being asked for recommendations of site-seeing, she did not hesitate and gave me all the information I needed. My trip was fully covered, thankfully by Miss Pham.
My stay was awesome. Thanks to all the hotel staff, the hotel, and Da Nang.
