We stayed at the hotel and overall, everything was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a balcony and a sea view, and it was definitely worth it — watching the sunrise was absolutely magical! This was the fourth place I stayed on my first ever trip to Vietnam. So by the point I checked in here, I had come to expect that language barrier will be a thing, and some amenities I was used to in America won’t be available.
But I was quickly proved wrong about the first thing and by the end of my stay I realized if you ask through the right channels or know what words to use, they will go above and beyond what I’ve seen in any other hotel! You can just stop reading here and make your reservation. But continue if you’d like more detail.
The people at Mandila set the tone for your stay from the moment you pull up. Doorman, bellman, reception, all work in sync to make sure you won’t have to lift a finger if you don’t want to. Something that was rare for me to experience back home.
The rooms are quite roomy and well laid out. I had an ocean view room in the 5th floor with my own balcony. There’s seating for two on the balcony. Inside there’s one cushy sofa and a coffee table and one chair by the desk. The bathroom is one place where I found the lack of a shower curtain a little hard to deal with as the bathroom would get rather wet after a shower. Oh and some hair conditioner and moisturizer or body lotion would have been great to have in the bathrooms.
The minibar was stocked well and water, soda and beer were reasonably priced. I would have definitely used it more if I was staying in my room for extended periods of the day. But since the beach was so close I was down there often. The hotel provides you flipflops that you can wear in your room or to the beach. Beach towels are also available from the pool area.
The pool itself is not very big (maybe because of the small footprint of the buildings) and you realize you are very close to the other hotels and their pools too. But it was great to see the views from the water. The deck could have had more space and loungers tho. They get occupied fast.
The breakfast buffet was very impressive in its variety and quality. There is also ample space for everyone to sit down. The local fruits that I got to try at this buffet was my favorite part.
Lastly, the spa has some great services and packages and the staff is really kind and made sure that my first time getting a full body coffee scrub was a memorable one. Nguyen Nguyen was really well spoken and made sure we were understanding each other through the treatment.
I would definitely stay here again and book a longer stay.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The culinary offerings were exceptional. The accommodations were spacious and fully equipped. The proximity to the beach provided ample opportunities for leisurely strolls. Additionally, a 24-hour supermarket conveniently located adjacent to the hotel offered essential supplies. What an amazing hotel! We are lucky enough to be here on a long stay and we are so glad that this was our pick! Firstly, I don’t think I have ever encountered staff like it. Each and every one of them are kind, happy, helpful and genuine. We are in a sea view balcony room which is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The housekeeping team always do a great job and our room is always clean and replenished with water and toiletries. The bathtub is a real treat. The outside noise doesn’t bother us. It’s usually over by 11pm and so it’s not so bad. Everything else more than compensates anyway. The TV has ample English sports and movie channels to choose from, which is very handy! The breakfast is delicious, fresh and has a great variety to choose from. We are vegetarian and haven’t gone hungry! The variety mostly stays the same, but there is enough choice that we can change what we have each day and still be satisfied. The staff -all of them- at breakfast are exceptional. If you are happy, they are happy. The roof top pool/restaurant has amazing views and they make great coffees there! (The French fries are the best!) The location is perfect. Literally a 2 minute walk and you’re on the fabulous My Khe beach. We are so happy that we chose this hotel and we will never forget our stay here. Thank you Mandila!!

Second time staying here in the last 6 mths, and the reasons I came back again are many... fantastically friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-presented premises, great value room rates, location directly opposite the beach and only a 5-10min Grab/taxi ride to most of the rest of central Da Nang City, including the airport. Nice easy walking distance (3kms roughly) to the Han River and famous Dragon Bridge plus plenty of restaurants and bars in the local neighbourhood including some excellent banh mi stalls and good places for ca phe sua (iced milk coffee). To be fair this hotel is on the main road opposite a busy park, a main beach and a popular dining strip, so there's some general background noise as a result, along with some nighttime music from the beach bars along the strip (so if you're a light sleeper maybe don't get an oceanfront room) but it's difficult to fault this hotel otherwise. From Reception to Housekeeping, from Guest Relations to Food & Beverage there are smiles everywhere and nothing is ever too much trouble for the team. Shout out to Tran, Thu, Huyen, Thuy, Loc, Hannah, Quang and Hoi who made us feel so welcome, especially at the rooftop bar and pool which was a great place to spend time overlooking the ocean and Son Tra Peninsula with a drink in hand after a day of tours. Highly recommend you stay here!

Do yourself a favour and stay here. Such a great beachfront location, barely ten mins drive from the airport, with rooms that are very clean & tidy and are obviously well maintained by attentive housekeeping staff. I could not have been happier to have chosen this hotel for my first visit to Da Nang. The staff are 100% amazing! So friendly. Shout out to Huong Bui and her tireless smiling colleagues in Food & Beverage service, always happy and nothing is ever too much trouble no matter what hour of their shift they're into! Our stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! We spent five nights in the Mandila Ocean Suite, which offered breathtaking views of the ocean and beach—truly a perfect setting. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was impressively large, complete with a luxurious bathtub. During our visit, the atmosphere was remarkably tranquil. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive, particularly Hannah and Thuan, who made us feel warmly welcomed and well cared for. We were there in late November. There was construction ongoing next door. It wasn’t terribly noisy in our room but did notice bathroom window didn’t seem as “noiseproof” which isn’t a big deal Iif you remember to keep the bathroom door closed. Work started about 7 and went on into the evening. Lovely hotel - wouldn’t suggest avoiding because of construction.
Hello The construction can be seen from one side of the hotel, but you can't hear it doing the night and it's not gonna affect your staying in anyway there. plus all the roads are open nothing to be concern about. great hotel and the area and the beach are perfect.
