Tucked away on the oldest road that is the only vestige from French colonial period, Ha An Hotel is probably a special nostalgic destination not only for antique Faifo people but also for travelers who are wishing to explore the serene beauty of Hoi An. A harmonious blench of exquisite Indochina architecture and sophisticated Europe chic, Ha An Hotel seems to be a separated romance of the bygone era right in the heart of old town where inherently overwhelms of artworks. Two of many specialties in Ha An are the Babylon garden and outdoor swimming pool located right in the premises of the hotel. Unwind yourself with a glass of cocktail at the swimming pool while experience the green space with endless wind and birdsong, Ha An is an exclusive miniature paradise for tourists who are into nature.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in January 2020. The location is very convenient, well within walking distance from all the picturesque sites in the old town. The staff were very friendly, and offered me a welcome drink. Unfortunately my room was right next to the reception area, so every morning I would be invariable woken up by the sounds of people walking by, checking out, or asking for help at reception etc.. the room itself was very pretty, although it was a little small, and I could do with a small table or chair inside. There was a good variety of tv channels on offer, and the bathroom was reasonably clean and tidy.
Breakfast was included in my stay, and they had a wide variety of western, and eastern style food available... one doesn’t need to have lunch after having breakfast with them!
After check on, I was pleasantly surprised that the receptionist walked me towards my minibus, thanking me for my stay and wishing me a safe onward journey. I thought that was a very nice gesture. All in all, I had a great time in Ha An hotel and also enjoyed Hoi An, I would recommend this hotel.

Me and my partner stayed for three amazing nights. Service was wonderful. Pick up and drop off service made things easy and worked out cheaper than grab or taxi. Room was great air con amazing terrace fantastic, bed's great, and the mini bar was a good price. The included breakfast is responsible for mine adding 2kg lol seriously though, fresh fruit of all kinds omelette's made to order and more. Didn't have dinner here but one look at the menu told me it's great value with choices for everyone. Staff were all so nice and friendly but never overbearing. Free bikes for rent and the pool are unmissable. The perfect stay in Hoi An.

This hotel has a great location near the old town, the atmosphere is really cozy and the staff are so nice and sweet! The food in the restaurant also really good. I really love this place.

When we arrived we did not get the room that we have booked which they should have noticed us, instead we have to tell them ourselves, but without any problem the gave us a new room and even upgraded us which was nice!!

To make it better I would recommend they provide the rooms with mosquito nets (lots of mosquitoes, when we went in february), and in my opinion also better beds and pillows.

Thank you for a great stay overall!

Ha An was overpriced and not competitive in comparison for what you can get elsewhere in Hoi An (see my review on ‘Khong Cam Garden Villa’) Maybe it was just our room (ground floor and close to reception) but it was really quite small with a musty and old bathroom with tired facilities, a smell of dampness and a very noisy old air conditioning unit which buzzed away all night long. Noise disturbance was also an issue as we were beside reception which was quite busy from early morning onwards.

There’s nothing unacceptable about this hotel – the location is great, the swimming pool and poolside seating is relaxing, the choice of breakfast was good, and we had a small terrace where we played cards and drank a beer – but for the price it could have been better and we had expected considerably more. This was our last night of holiday so we paid more for it, and were disappointed.

I stayed for a week solo and had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely helpful, writing out notes for taxi rides that included stops at the market and the ATM. Even the man at the front gate welcomed me each time I returned from an expedition.

Everyone knows the best cuisine in the world is Asian and the best Asian cuisine is Vietnamese, and the best Vietnamese cuisine is in Hoi An. Everyone knows that and this hotel was a perfect place to stay while I proved that hypothesis.

Hoi An is a beautiful place and the Ha An is located near its heart. It is a traditional colonial building, large rooms (somewhat dated furniture), great breakfast, decent restaurant, swimming pool, and many other amenities. The staff is pleasant, friendly and more than helpful. Definitely recommended.

We stayed for 8 nights at the Ha An Hotel in Hoi An and it was the best place we stayed in Vietnam. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfasts the most delicious we had on our trip and above all the staff and management were welcoming and responsive.

They even sourced and bought in my husband’s favourite beer - Red Horse - which made him the happiest man in the world🙂

Thank you again Mei and your team!

My husband and I stayed at Ha An Hotel for 3 nights. Upon checking in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile. We were given a detailed explanation of what is offered by the hotel and what activities we can do in Hoi An. They booked an excellent cooking class with Thuan Tinh Cooking Class for us and a trip to My Son.

Breakfast was served daily and my oh my was it delicious. We thoroughly enjoy the many options served. The staff were all incredibly helpful and always served with a smile.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to all who visit Hoi An!

Hi Alipete, I would suggest you should take the Superior or Deluxe Garden View with 01 extra bed set up. This would meet your expectation. Deluxe is the best choice with balcony and looking over the nice garden. Hope this would help

Depends on how much rain you get. October is not too bad though. I was there when the typhoon went up the coast in September and dropped rain for 24 hours - no flooding.
