My wife and I stayed at the Thien Thanh earlier in December. We had our prior hotel, the Orchid in Hue book the room for us. $35 per night, nice and quiet, clean room, nice shower and decent brekkie. They also had 4 computers with decent internet speed. We had a 3rd story room with a small patio overlooking the...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, until the 18th Dec 2007, and left with mixed feelings. The positive points are that we arrived at the hotel at 6am after 17 hours on the train. We expected just to leave our bags until we could check in later but the housekeepers quickly cleaned a room and 20 min later...

I travelled in SE Asia for a month, and Thien Thanh was without a doubt one of my most pleasant stays regardless of price. When I first stepped into the hotel lobby I thought I had entered a contemporary furniture store. Now I'm a real sucker for decor, and what I found so special about Thien Thanh was their attention...

The rooms are very clean and decorated very nicely. I stayed there for 3 nights at the end of November and we very happy with the overall experience. The breakfast was included and had a lot of great options (you can make your own Vietnamese coffee). It is on the outskirts of town, but you can get everwhere in a...

Granted, I got the last room available, but it was moldy and small. Breakfast is included, though I didn't stay because I left first thing in the morning to go to the neighboring hotel instead. Room was overpriced too. Yes, there's a pool but you can't use it when its cool out, so not a year round amenity, though they...

We stayed here for two nights in November and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little bit on the outskirts of town. But it's an easy walk to the heart of Hoi An. Being a little removed from the center is not necessarily a bad thing, considering the omnipresence of the motos in Vietnam. We visited HoiAn early...

Service & Staff: Very prompt in their response to emails. Very eager to pick you up from airport. Receptionist cum General Manager showed us to a superior room even though we have reserved a standard room, but we declined the offer to upgrade/size. Not worth it coz superior faces a swampy area and not the nice green field in the...

We stayed two night at this hotel in October. The room was just OK at US$25 a night. The pool is quite small and not heated. All right for a quick dip. The hotel staff were very friendly with the guests but only if you are blond and have blue eyes. Check out the area as there are other hotels...

The hotel is only classed as a 2 star but i would say its more like a 3/4 star hotel. On arrival we were shown both types of rooms and picked the delux for $45 inc tax and breakfast. The room was the most beautiful room we have stayed in veitnam. Wooden bath tub, balcony and petals and wine on...
