Our stay at La Siesta Hoi An Resort and Spa in February 2025 was nothing short of magical. We traveled from the USA with 32 family and friends to celebrate a wedding, and the resort’s exceptional staff ensured that every moment of our stay was unforgettable. From the breathtaking property to the impeccable service, every detail made this an experience we will cherish forever.
The resort itself is a serene paradise, with lush, perfectly manicured grounds and tranquil pools. We stayed in one of the two-level suites, offering a stunning view of the rice paddies. The comfort and luxury of the room, combined with the attentive staff who saw to our every need, made our stay feel like a true escape.
The wedding itself was beyond spectacular. The bride and groom hosted three days of events: the groom’s dinner, the wedding day, and the post-wedding luncheon. Each one was flawlessly executed. The groom’s dinner was an impressive feast, with a lavish spread of cold and hot dishes, desserts, and meats for grilling. The setting was equally impressive, with all the food and tables elegantly arranged under a tent. Every detail was taken care of, allowing the family to fully enjoy the evening without a single worry.
The wedding day itself was equally stunning. The ceremony took place in the same location as the groom’s dinner, but the staff completely transformed the space, adding new décor that beautifully accommodated mingling and ceremony seating. Afterward, we enjoyed dinner at the Red Bean restaurant, where the food was as delicious as every other meal we had at the resort, and the service was impeccable. The next day, we had a post-wedding luncheon by the pool—an assortment of small bites, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks that was the perfect way to wrap up the celebrations. The on-site spa deserves a special mention. I treated myself to two incredible services—a 90-minute session that included a 60-minute Himalayan salt massage and a 30-minute facial, as well as a 60-minute hot stone couples massage with my husband. These were, without a doubt, the best massages we had during our entire trip. My mother-in-law, who couldn’t resist the spa’s incredible prices, treated herself to services every day, and she couldn’t stop raving about the quality.
In terms of location, La Siesta is perfectly situated—just a 10-15 minute walk from Hoi An’s Old Town or a quick drive by open-air taxi or regular cab. The front desk can easily arrange transportation for you, or you can use the Grab app to summon a ride. We also had laundry done at the resort (as we did at every hotel we stayed at), and they did an excellent job.
Overall, this stay will forever hold a special place in our hearts. If you're considering a wedding in Hoi An, I cannot recommend La Siesta highly enough. From the stunning setting to the flawless service, the memories we made here are simply unforgettable. It was, without question, the experience of a lifetime.

La Siesta is a really top resort. The complex is very well maintained and laid out like a great garden. There are four pools embedded in it. Everything is very quiet and pleasant, you can really relax here. There are small free activities, such as handicrafts or small cooking classes. The staff is super friendly and helpful without being pushy. The breakfast is one of the best we've had so far. The only drawback is the location, it's a bit out of the way and the free shuttle bus only runs three times a day. It's about 20 minutes' walk to the center. We always took a Grab, which cost about 1.20 euros per trip. The hotel cooperates with a beach club, so you can also use the beach, which can also be reached by shuttle. We had a deluxe double room with an extra bed. The room was a good size for three people and had a great bathroom. We would definitely vacation here again.

We enjoyed our stay at la siesta. Our room had a sauna and a shared backyard.. the hotel is like 20 minutes walking from the old town and they offer a shuttle service to the old town and to the beach as well. The breakfast was good eventhough some baked items were not fresh . We went to the desk with our luggage to checkout without notice. They held us stating that they will check the room to make sure that we didn't forget anything. We spent 4 nights at this hotel staying in one of the poolside rooms next to the temple restaurant with the Temple Restaurant breakfast package included. We chose this hotel to complete our two week Vietnam trip and unwind before heading home. The major cities of Vietnam are very busy and can be overwhelming at times so to finish our trip at this hotel was such a highlight. The hotel staff were exceptional from the moment you step into the foyer. They were always happy and attentive to make sure our stay was faultless. Special mention to the Spa staff - highly recommend the 90 minute massage experience (we went twice). The daily breakfast package at The Temple restaurant is great value for money. The hotel is well positioned being a 50,000 VND ($3 AUD) Electric car drive away from the main tourist area. I highly recommend this hotel as a destination for both a short and long stay.

This a superb, 5 star resort that offers great facilities with the best service. The team at La Siesta consistently went out their way to make sure we had a fabulous, relaxing stay during the 6 nights we spent in Hoi An.
3 different pools provide lots of space to find a quiet corner or relax with family. Each is easily accessed from any of the rooms.
We stayed in the club wing, and the large room was perfect for us with a huge bed and private balcony. The team taking care of our room visited at least twice daily.
The hotel restaurants offer a mix of cuisines that will cater to most, families included. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh ingredients and large choices, well presented and a team to cater for any need.
The Spa is a wonderful experience where we enjoyed massages and treatments. Before 10am enjoys 20% early discount making already great prices even better.
The location is very central and only a 10minute walk to the Hoi An Old Town which offers excellent restaurants and shopping.

La Siesta rates as one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Pros: location, only a 10 min walk to town although the road can be very busy with scooters; the staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you; very good breakfast selection and both restaurants serve very good food in the evening with the Red Bean being cheaper; the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing with 4 pools and plenty of sunbeds; try the spa, I had one if the best massages during my stay; a shuttle bus will take you to the sister beach bar and restaurant resort and collect you. Cons: soundproofing can be an issue. We had a noisy pipe making a very loud noise our first night but we were immediately moved to a temporary room our first night and we're given a new room for the duration of our stay. Rooms and bathrooms are a little smaller than you would expect for a hotel of this standard but that wasn't a problem for us. Would we recommend La Siesta? Definitely.

We booked the 3 nights Terrace Suite package through the website and it was worth every cent. The package includes 2 way airport hotel transfer, a complimentary dinner, daily breakfast, a 60 min massage for 2, and a choice of half day tour for 2. The terrace pool suite was amazing. It is rustic in design, spacious with a King size bed, polished wooden floor boards, has a separate toilet and shower, a bathtub in the room, and a outdoor spa bath on the very spacious terrace with deck chairs. Being our anniversary trip the room was decorated to welcome us and we were assigned a host to contact for our every need. The selection of food for breakfast is diverse and catered to every taste. The hotel has 4 pools with one of them being a salt water pool. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially our host Tu, who gave us her personal contact and always went out of her way to help us by arranging tours, providing information on food and tourist places and also responding to our queries even though she was on her meal break or off duty. The environment was very tranquil and peaceful. Situated at the end of the street next to a rice paddock, it was on the same street to ancient town. It is quiet but the flip side was that it’s a good 10-15 mins walk to town.. fine if weather is good but being July, the walk in 35C heat can be brutal. However, the hotel does run complimentary shuttle bus service to and from town and An Bang beach but the schedule is not very regular.. 3 a day. All in it is a beautiful hotel and very well set up like a resort. Highly recommend

I cannot rate this wonderful hotel high enough! From the minute you walk in, you are transported to some sort of paradise.
The staff are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure your stay is phenomenal. As I said all the staff are exceptional, but special mention has to be made to Hoang (Guest Relations), Ngan in the Red Bean Restaurant and Hang (Guest Relations). They went out of their way to give us tips and ideas for things to do, where to buy things etc.
I'd bought something that was delicate, and the next day Hoang appeared at the pool with some protective wrapping, scissors etc to wrap it. Hoang would also check in with us to see what our plans and give us any extra tips - without being intrusive.
We were booked in a Deluxe Room with balcony overlooking one of the 4 pools in the Classic Wing. This was great. Halfway through our stay we were then upgraded to an Executive room over in the new Club wing. I have never stayed anywhere like it. It was absolutely stunning.
There are 2 restaurants - Red Bean and the Temple. We never ate in the Temple so cannot comment. Our breakfasts were in the Red Bean (so much choice!!) and we also ate some evenings in the Red Bean - again, the food was exceptional and service was impeccable.
As mentioned, there are 4 pools, including children's and a salt-water pool.
Location wise, ideal location to stroll along into the Ancient Town of Hoi An. There is also a free shuttle bus that will run you to the centre of Hoi An and the beach at An Bang. La Siesta residents have free access to the sun loungers at the Shore Beach Club at An Bang, so be careful where you sit along the beach otherwise you'll be charged.
There is also a Spa on site which you get 20% discount for your 1st visit between 8.30am and 10.30am. I booked a Head, Neck and Shoulder and it was divine. Hoang even rang the Spa whilst I was there to say that breakfast would still be open for me to grab some breakfast (Breakfast finishes at 10am).
Without a doubt, La Siesta has been the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are a real credit, the grounds and pools are exceptional. Just such a beautiful place.
I will be back to stay without a doubt.

Luxury hotel on the edge of the old town. It’s about a 15minute walk into town which means you are away from the noise. The beautiful gardens and four pools are like an oasis after the hustle and bustle of the town. The rooms are great value and you have a choice of several types depending on your requirements and budget. Staff are exceptional, very attentive but not claustrophobic, Tu was standout from engaging with us at our first breakfast, offering lots of helpful information through to making sure our departure was slick and stressless. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and staff always happy to meet your every need , including being happy to provide items not already available. We ate in Red Bean restaurant on the evening we arrived, it was very good and satisfied our desire to not venture out on our first night. We used the complimentary bicycles which were great fun. Hoi An is a bustling vibrant town, we arrived on New Year’s Day of the TET celebrations and there was a massive party atmosphere, there is plenty to do in the town, historic sites to visit, cookery classes, massage, boat trips, markets, and many fantastic good quality restaurants very reasonably priced. The beach is not far 40 mins by bicycle or you can use the hotel shuttle. Like we have found all the time during are stay in Vietnam, the staff go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend.

The staff were really friendly, the facilities, everything was great. It gave my family a really happy time.
It is 5 minutes away from Hoi An Old Town and has good accessibility. The resort's facilities are well-equipped, so I was able to use all the spaces without any inconvenience.
It was a bit uncomfortable to go up and down while using the second floor space in the room, but it was a unique experience.
In particular, the times I spent relaxing sitting on the terrace or lying on the sunbed by the pool were special.
It is also recommended for those who like swimming as there are 4 swimming pools and all are easily accessible.
Next time I come to Hoi An, this is the place I want to stay again. I would like to recommend it to others too!
