If you are looking for a beach respite while touring Vietnam, stay here. There are four pools, comfortable beach furniture and bar to start with. The rooms are large, super comfy with terrific beds and baths! Everything you need is provided in the room and the structure of the resort ensures you have a quiet night's rest.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, offering free bikes to get around. They are a bit rusty but they work nevertheless.
The resort is located on a small street so no traffic noise! WIth an amazing coffee bar and the best bar in the world - Eight Days a Week - down the street.
This is the place to stay!

What a beautiful boutique hotel. We stayed for 6 nights and loved everything about it. Perfect location on the beach surrounded by pine trees. Cute little beach bar. Three gorgeous small pools in between the blocks which were complete sun traps.
Rooms were beautiful, lovely toiletries provided. Cleaned daily, nothing was too much trouble and when we asked for a clothes dryer for the balcony it was in our room before we even got back from reception.
Fantastic made to order breakfast every day, choose from fresh fruit, yogurts, omelettes, full english, continental, even eggs benedict, fresh fruit juices and coffees. They have an amazing chef, please thank him for us!
All staff were so helpful, friendly and treated us like royalty.
Lovely little bars and restaurants within walking distance, but fairly low key. 10 min walk to An Bang centre or the hotel provides free bicyle hire. 10 min drive to Hoi An or about 70k dong in a grab taxi. Oh and a great little shop opposite selling essentials like water, beer, lays crisps and with a tailors on the side too (zo zo)

I returned to the Sol An Bang, to thank the Staff for their kindness and help they showed me when my Wife passed away in Hospital in Da Nang, during April 2020. If anything the Hotel is even better, the Staff from Reception, Bar and even the Gardener and Cleaning Staff, made me feel that I was revisiting old friends. At breakfast, the Yogurt was delicious and the bacon the best I have had in Asia, nothing was too much trouble and a steak I had one evening was great, they even made Austrian Kaiserschmarrn for me after I had talked about it, it was very nice. I plan to be back there in 2023 for Christmas and New Year. The beach bar was manned even if only a couple of guests were in the beach area. The beach suffered damage from a tornado but great effort has been made to assure the guests comfort and sun loungers have been relocated as has the bar.

Firstly what a great choice for us at the Sol An Bang in Hoi An, Vietnam ... Our arrival was greeted with welcoming arms and smiling faces... I can't speak to other times of the year but it was relatively quiet and tranquil and it was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. We could hear the rolling surf from our balcony where we had a little view from our upper floor room. From our unit it was a 1 minute walk thru there impeccably maintained grounds to the beach which was most inviting and fun as there was enough surf to have fun frolicking in the waves to actually surf or boggy board. The staff were kind, very helpful and genuinely interested in engaging with us. These 3 ladies Luong, Min and Linh were the warmest and friendliest of souls and are well deservant of the biggest thank you for looking after us while we were there for 4 nights. The morning were always a treat and a great way to start your day. Ray of sunshine smiles from the staff, several choices were offered from fresh juices, hot or cold coffee, Vietnamese style breakfast choices, eggs any style, fresh bread and fruit...Yummy. Conveniently located to everything is the a big attraction to Sol An Bang. Hoi An Ancient city was a 4km bike ride which bikes were kindly supplied for free by Sol An Bang. An easy ride from there mostly thru the rice paddy countryside and or a quick taxi ride. If you wanted to hit Da Nang that was also close by. Sol An Bang has a great restaurant and beach bar for all meals but has the convenience of its location to several other restaurants a short walk down the beach or on the road within minutes of there location which we sampled several. We were sad to leave as it was so fantastic but we were on to our next journey in this beautiful country. Thanks again those 3 beautiful ladies and to all the staff at Sol An Bang for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed here for 8 nights. The room was lovely, really well decorated. We were in one of the top floor sea view rooms. The only issue with this is that it had a high walled balcony which wasn’t really conducive for sitting out on. The lower floor and middle floor balconies were better. There were 2 swimming pools, one with a shallow pool for kids, which my daughter loved. The beach is a 30 second walk through the pine trees and is fantastically quiet. Plenty of sun beds for everyone though when we’re there. The breakfast was good, great iced coffee. We ate in the restaurant one night as the weather was pretty wild and windy one night. The food was pretty good! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice quiet beach stay.

We are in our final day at this lovely beachside resort and we have enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The location is perfect. Situated right on the beach at the end of the beach road, so no traffic noises. It is surround by great local restaurants, all within 150 meters walk down the quiet beach road.
The accommodation is well appointed with good amenities. The theme is deliberately rustic which gives it a unique informal seaside feel.
The staff here are fantastic and always strive to meet your every need.
Special mention must go to "Mai" who is an outstanding hostess - she organises her staff with maximum efficiency while attending personally to every detail (she is simply a fist class F&B supervisor!!).
Mai is ably support by Linh and Phoung (?), who work tirelessly.
This property is only 5 kilometers from the ancient city, which is readily accessibly by electric trolleys or taxis (cost approx. 100,000 VND or $4 US).
A highly recommended stay to chill and forget the crowds.

SOL AN BANG is home away from home. The hotel and rooms are 4 star but what makes the place unique and truly special is staff. Whom ,I feel make it 6 star....
From the moment we arrived we received 10/ 10 service . After 14 hour flight we were exhausted and arrived at 10 , so we were tired and the staff checked us in early , upgraded our room to a Seaview room due to the length of our stay. We were so surprised and so appreciative.
Thank you LUONG at reception, our breakfast team Min, Mai , Thuan, Trinh , Linh❤️❤️❤️ , you ladies made our stay very special. We will truly miss u.
Why I would recommend Sol An bang 1) The hotel will arrange your hotel transfer at the same price as Grab ,no extra costs.
2) All tours Luong arranges, it's do much cheaper than booking.com or Agoda. Definitely ask Luong for this.
3) Any local plays or concerts she will inform you ,which is great especially on rainy days.
4) The early check in and upgrades are so appreciated.
5) but importantly they went out of their way to accommodate us because we don't eat pork and beef. They created 5 new items on the breakfast menu so my husband had a choice of food for breakfast. This is the type of service you gwt at Sol an Bang.. they just incredible.
The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from old Town which is very convenient because we were back and forth everyday.
The beach is simply stunning. My family had a lovely holiday I eill highly recommend this hotel of u looking for a place in Hoi An.

We stayed here as the final part of our honeymoon trip and couldn’t have been happier. We were treated to a ground level apartment which looked out onto gardens and the beachfront behind (about 5minutes to walk down to shore) and the hotel pool was a 2minute walk away. The room was beautiful, spacious, with a modern design and we couldn’t have been happier with the facilities here. Breakfast proved to be an interesting one however, as this was set with choices for each course. This might not prove to be an issue for some with bigger breakfast appetites- but I don’t generally want for more than one ‘course’ and one drink to be satisfied. Trying to get this across however felt as though you were being ungrateful for this ‘spread’ they were willing to put on each day, but sometimes in hotter climes especially, personally I just can’t face that much food in the morning at the very least! The staff were always very helpful however and tried to understand what the awkward western woman was trying to get at, and bless them they did oblige, only that it was the same conversation the following day. This didn’t detract from a lovely stay here however, we were always able to rely on the staff to help us with anything we needed and the reception staff in particular could not have done more to this end. This was a welcome rest from the previous week, spent on the bustling street of Tokyo and gave us more than adequate opportunity to recharge our batteries before returning home as Mr and Mrs!

From the moment I stepped back into the Sol, I was among friends.For Min and Thuan on reception, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast,included in my packet, were well cooked and presented alarge choice, enough to keep you going the whole day. In the evening, I ate there every day Xuan and the other Kitchen Staff presented a range of dishes from Vietnamese to Fish and Chips or Kaiserschmarrn all served my Mai and the staff in the Restaurant. The Rooms are well equiped with TV with a couple of English Programmes, always Hot Water for a shower, comfortable beds. Looked after by housekeeping who care about the guests. The beach is only 25 meters away and there is a beach bar.

We stayed for 5 nights in an upstairs room with a sea view through the trees. The hotel is very welcoming and in a perfect location right next to a quiet beach but only a £3-£6 grab ride into the old town. Rooms are very comfortable with massive beds and a balcony where we sat out watching lots of butterflies in the trees. Breakfast is picked from a selection on the menu, and the banana French toast was delicious. Big thank you to Linh, Thao, Luong and Min, who were all really helpful and booked us discounted tickets for the Hoi An Memories show. They also fixed a couple of problems we have with the safe and a/c straight away - great service from a lovely team.
