Hotel Furkat is the unique hotel, which combines the Uzbek hospitality with comfortable conditions of stay in 26 rooms. Entering the gate you will find yourself in small inner yard, where you would feel the spirit of antiquity and enjoy the lounge life of Samarkand. During summer you can make you comfortable on the topchan (trestle bed), having friendly talk over a cup of traditional Uzbek tea.The hotel Furkat has cascading construction: some part of the building is of two storeys, another one is of three storeys. All storeys are connected with stairs. The interior of the hotel and outward decoration of the yard add the inimitable oriental charm to the hotel. Numerous Suzanne, chasing and wooden elements rivet your eyes, while you are coming upstairs. Above the third floor there is the summer terrace with the wonderful view of 4 architectural Samarkand monuments: Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym, Shakhi-Zinda and Al-Matrudi.The convenient location is one of advantages of this small family-run hotel. It will take your only a few minutes walk to reach the Registan Square. Free WiFi access

Furkat is a bit of a rambling but characterful location with the host being eager to please. The breakfast is huge and extra courses keep coming so you won't go hungry. It is also very close to the Registron so easy access to the sites....More
