We cannot say enough amazing things about this place. We came on our honeymoon and instantly fell in love. The nearby landscape and property itself are both breathtaking. The staff is so wonderful and they are very warm and helpful. It is an excellent place to relax (they have a very nice pool space). A highlight for us was taking...

We stayed for 2 nights at this Posada that included only 4 rooms. The room was very quiet and comfortable including a very cosy bed. The location was very picturesque with the Bodega and vineyards on the property. What a great view to have when having breakfast! A car would have been helpful as we were forced to take cabs...

Posada Campotinto was absolutely wonderful. We could have stayed here a week. The entire area around Carmelo is very tranquil. The owner Diego and his entire staff were very helpful and hospitable. They have their own winery and you are close to other wineries in Carmelo area. Very comfortable stay and good dinner. We would highly recommend Posada Campotinto to...

We stayed here for just one night after travelling here in a hire car; we would have stayed longer but they were fully booked for the weekend. It’s about 10 minutes drive from the centre of Carmelo and the place is surrounded by wine country. If you have the choice of where to stay, skip the town and stay around...

CampoTinto is a great place to relax for a couple of days. The place is very charming and the fact that it only has 05 rooms is a big plus. We really enjoyed walking around the vineyards, getting some sun at the pool facing the fields and going by bike or even walking to some wineries near by. Veronique was...

Campotinto is sophisticated without being fussy. The estate is so beautiful and the personal is so nice (that includes really welcoming our kids) that one asks why not stay one day longer. It may not be the cheapest posada around, but it is certainly the best. Did I mention nice food and incredible wines? Will be back asap.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a quest to see more of Uruguay besides Punta del Este. Campotinto is a place that feels like you are guests at a lovely country home of friends. For such a small inn, four rooms and a fancy tent, there is everything that one needs, a pool, a great restaurant, and...

We stayed our first three nights in Uruguay at CampoTinto - the perfect way to start our trip and recover from the long flight. The staff is welcoming and go out of their way to make you comfortable.
