We stayed in a double banda (named Queen Elizabeth) and though the shiny, tiled floor is nice, the rest doesn't seem to have been updated in years (which can also can be said of the zoo overall). The bathroom and shower is not in great condition in this room. It's small, cramped, the shower pressure is low, and its either...

This is our last stop in Uganda after traveling in Uganda for three weeks. Great place to stay, it's located in the Ugandan Wildlife Authority and admission is included. We are free to walk about and see the animals at our leisure! Very nice bandas with hot showers! Quiet and peaceful!

Safety and the animals are the prime focus when undertaking the work. Accommodation, a traditional Banda and meals are included and it is not unusual to be woken by the...

It really is a Zoo, so if you are expecting something different please be realistic, there is very little money for conservation in Uganda. But it's a 'nice' Zoo, well laid out and lots of space for the animals and the volunteer...

Stayed in a banda here on my last night in Uganda. It is a good location before catching a flight at the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was the case EVERYWHERE we stayed in Uganda, and the best thing about the whole trip. The banda was very spacious, and even had functioning TV. You can go to...
