This was a great base for a couple of nights in Entebbe. Great value, outstanding food, charming staff and super-clean. I'll stay there again with absolutely no hesitation and think I've made a real find - luckily because I'd only booked it due to it being where Mabamba shoebill safaris are based. I would recommend Jonathan for the latter -...

We stayed as a family of four in December. Communication pre-booking was efficient and on arrival the pick up from the airport was good. The hotel is more of a largish family home in a quite street in Entebbe in good walking distance to the botanical gardens and Entebbe town. We were in a family room which was clean and...

This is long overdue. I stayed at the Sunset in late June, on my way back to the USA after two months in Uganda. The place was fantastic. The owners were incredibly friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with them at length. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the WiFi was the best I found in Africa. Should I ever...

I stayed here in 2013 and was really impressed. However, upon returning earlier this month I found it had gone slightly downhill; our room I felt needed refurbishment, the fan was loud, the shower was a trickle and the breakfast was mushed fruit and stale bread. A real shame as the staff are quite good and the restaurant is really...

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your comment as it helps us to know and improve where needed. We are especially sorry for the experience with the room as at seems you ended up with one of the only two that have not yet been refurbished and upgraded. Since 2013 most of the rooms have been fitted with new...

Hi, I wanna share my opinion about this fantastic hotel! I was scared a little bit, cause I heard that a lot of diseases there. But when we met this place with my family, we were shocked. We met with friendly staff and luxury hotel. People are very communicative and the atmosphere is very friendly. Rooms were always clean. I...

For the price I was very happy, the staff were very accommodating. Clean rooms, hot showers, no A/C but you really dont need it in Entebbe. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and dinner (extra) was great value and all home made. I would stay again.

We regularly stay here with a team when we arrive in Uganda and just before we leave. The staff are great and go out of their way to help you! The breakfast is lovely with lots of variety, there is even toasted muesli! There are a range of rooms and wifi is accessible in most of the grounds! The complimentary...

Stayed one night after landing in Entebbe and before driving on to our final destination for the summer. Clean, pleasant, and friendly staff. The driver who picked us up from the airport was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious (although it took a while to be ready!) Overall a wonderful introduction to the country.

I stayed here just one night on the way to Rwenzori. The room is nice and everything worked. The location is really close to the airport so it is quite convenient to catch early flight. It is located in residential area of Entebbe so nothing there to explore. I can't imagine guests stay longer than one day in this place.
