Nothing bad about this hotel. I heard some people say that the staff didn't speak English. No problem with that. They arranged without problems a taxi in the middle of the night for a very good price. Recommended!

I have stayed in this hotel only one night and it was a nice hotel in the close vicinity of Mevlana museum and Allaadin park, Sems Tebriz Mosque. Every thing is walking distance, tram and busses, market etc. Room isn't clean much. Staff was helpful.

Yes, the different calls to prayer jolt you out of your bed perhaps ... and the rooms may not have all the modern conveniences you might be used to. And maybe I was just giddy from sitting up on the roof and awaiting to see Rumi's tomb the next day, but I simply loved this place! My room was small...

If your are in town to visit Mevlana's museum then there is no better place to stay then this small hotel. Level 3 rooms oversee Rumi's mazaar and it's beautiful specially at night. The hotel has good rooms with all amenities. A small parking area but the staff will help you if you have a van like we did.

When we asked to see our room we were taken to a tiny corner room on the front/side of the hotel. The windows were wide open and although tiny the room seemed fine. We closed the windows and headed out sightseeing. When we returned the room smelled like a dirty old ashtray. It was really, really bad so I went...

I read the reviews of the Rumi and as my first choice hotel was booked decided to try it out. None of the reviews I read mentioned the 5.30 wake up call by the call to prayer each morning from the local mosque... I do understand that it is to be expected but not the volume experienced.... food was average,...

Most visitors to Konya will want to visit the Mevlana Museum, maybe attend the Dervish show on a Saturday night and take a stroll to the city center. For all this, there is no better home base than the Hotel Rumi - literally only a three minutes' walk away from the Mevlana Museum. The hotel is an average city hotel,...

The Rumi is really well located and overall is a good hotel. The prices asked (we arrived off the street) were competitive and although not new, quite well presented. Staff are pleasant and efficient. A minor point - breakfast could have been a little better directed towards overseas tourists - still not bad. We were a party of two couples,...

This hotel is very good and the location in the historic district is really great. Clean. Comfortable. Good wi-fi. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Elevator. Smallish rooms by N. Am. standards, but how much do you need for sleeping? I stayed 1 night; two friends travelling. Ages 60 & 72.

The hotel is located just a few steps away from the resting place of Rumi the great poet. The only problem I had with this place was absolutely no wifi signals in the rooms. I had to sit on the stairs to go through my mail. The breakfast was great and the view from the top floor restaurant balcony was...
