As a 'town' itself Pamukkale really does not have a lot to offer. Only 10 kilometres or so away from the bigger city of Denizli (buy what you need there!), however, it's basically the place that you go to to see the spectacular water basins/ travertines and the ancient city of Hieropolis which sits high above them (make sure you...

Centrally located, just 10 mins walk to the entrance of calcium springs. Very decent, well appointed rooms, lavish breakfast, a freshly filled pool every day!! The best was the owner, quiet and helpful. Would love to revisit again in a cooler weather.

We arrived in time - check in time started. Were waiting for somebody to give us keys for 1 hour. In the room one bed was with dirty linens. Bedside table drawer was full of cigarettes ends. Shower was not dirty but everything old and leaking all the time.

Our rooms 308 and 309 were recently redocorated. Clean shower, toilet and beds. Swimmingpool was good also. I look forward to the breakfast. Price was 50 lira pp, incl. breakfast. You can walk from the Pamukkale exit straight down. Turn left, hotel is a bit hidden.

The hotel is one street behind the main road and just a short walk to the travertine terraces on the walk up to Heiropolis. The hotelier is very friendly and welcoming and is assisted by his wife (the cook) and his young son (jack of all trades). The rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel provides wifi and a pool,...
