Well nomads, If you want a special experience Alfina is it. The scenery of Cappadocia is rock and valleys. Driving into Alfina you still see rock but a gorgeous stylish hotel carved into it. Our room was for three and still left a good size space for stretching. Large bathroom with a spa was taken over by the ten year... More

The Hotel was quite intriguing. You entered via steps to the reception area, which then took you to the dining/courtyard/cave rooms. On entering the room, there was a different feel to the experience. It was a cave, yes, but an upmarket one. We had a room with an extra step up room, with an extra attic type room. You could... A beautiful hotel with excellent service. We were upgraded to suite and it was lovely. Very quiet. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommend. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We stayed for only two night and hated to leave.

Our room was a suite with a sitting room, bedroom, and full bath. Exquisitely furnished. A fireplace in the Sitting room provided a bit of extra atmosphere. Furnished with 'antique' like furniture, the room had real character. A lot of thought went in to design and detail. While some sections of the hotel are obviously 'built up' and not really... More

We got a touch of living in a cave in this hotel which was carved from the tufa rock of the area in Cappadocea in Urgup. The rooms varied in size and quality- ours was a standard room and not as spacious and well appointed as some other rooms we saw. It was a little hard to cool the room... More

This hotel is amazing and I am not sure what we did to deserve our rather grand room that would have fitted about 3 standard hotel rooms in. In addition, there was a great outside space to sit and relax. The hotel was at the entrance to Urgup so there was about a 10 minute walk to the heart of... More

We stayed in what was called a basic room at The Alfina Cave Hotel. The room had a split level large room with a good size sitting area and a good size bed room with a bed so big that my wife and I got lost. The bathroom was superb with a great shower and equally good jacuzzi bath. It... More

Very interesting hotel cut into a hillside. There is no A/C and with no way of cooling the rooms it was just too warm inside although maybe as winter sets in, the natural insulation might be just ideal. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, restaurant service attentive and prompt. The location is away from the immediate area if regional tourist sites... More
