We only wish there were six dots to give this unique, gracious, and welcoming tiny hotel! As travelers who like independence and the way local cultures are often best preserved away from tourist centers, we chose Aravan Evi not only because of its high ratings, but because it is a locally-owned place in a small rural village where we hoped...

This is an excellent place that makes you feel very at home. The rooms are unique, huge, very clean and managed by a very fun, polite family - Okan and his family. The food, all cooked by Okan's mom is excellent. Really authentic Turkish cuisine. There's also jeep tour that you can get on. It is very fun!!

Beautiful house, very friendly and helpful family. Okan went out of his way to help us when we arrived at the hotel and realised we had left our iPad and my son teddy at the airport. The homemade food by Okan's mum was so delicious. I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed our stay at this place....

Among those fantastic cave hotels in Cappadocia, I was simply drawn to Aravan Evi for its unique quiet beauty and homeliness. It was a perfect choice. The son in this family-run hotel Okan who speaks well English was so kind to recommend & arrange trips, tickets & even to show me some special spots, and with his his father Yusuf...

This place is great! The house had been in the family for 3 generations & Okan (the son that owns it now) is so hospitable. Mom cooks all of the meals, dad farms fire their fresh produce & does the driving, while Okan does all the rest. We made a true friend while here, Okan, and we feel so blessed...

Our family of five, including two children ages 10 and 11 and my retired father, recently stayed 6 nights at Aravan Evi. It was exactly the experience we were looking for. It is located in a small village near Urgup that is off the tourist beaten track (although there is a cave hotel in the village as well). The hotel...

Beautiful rooms, excellent food, friendly, welcoming family. This small hotel is a real find, and made our experience in Cappadocia even better than expected. During our five day stay, Okan helped us with our balloon ride booking, a tour guide, and airport pickup. Mum's cooking, prepared with fresh produce from the family's organic garden, was the best we had in...

What a find. I was so surprised this lovely restaurant was in the village we were staying in. A set menu using organic home grown produce cooked by mama with love and pride.
