Stayed here for three nights as part of an incredibly cheap cultural package tour with RSD Travel. Tassaray Hotel is located in the small but bustling town of Urgup which is a UNESCO world heritage site renowned for its cave buildings. The cave houses start literally up the road from the hotel and the town is dominated by an impressive... More

We were here for 2 nights, based on our cultural tour of Cappadocia. The rooms were clean, and the food was plentiful and of a good standard. The hotel is part of a group, and needs a little investment in the place as, though charming, it is beginning to fray a little at the edges. The staff were generally very... More

stayed here as part of a group, very pleasant hotel, quite old fashioned. Room clean and pleasant, no complaints. Food was plentiful and well presented but the 3 minute boiled eggs were a no go...far too snotty, barely warmed through. Nothing much in the immediate area but we did miss the rather large market which was up while we were out... More

We stayed there 2 nights as part of a tour group. The hotel is located very close to the town centre, about 10 minute walk. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good and offered a lot of choices. The fruit juice from the machine was fine and as was the tea/coffee etc. They also offer Turkish delight at breakfast, which... More

We stayed there as part of an organised tour. It's nothing to get excited about and the food wasn't great at dinner, better at breakfast though. The room is as described in other reviews, quite a weird decor and very ugly. There is no soundproofing either. However the bed is comfortable and everything was very clean, a positive considering how... More

The only reason we were in this hotel was a 2 day tour of Cappadocia with our travel agency. It's more 2 star than 4 they claim to be. Rooms are very old, bathroom wasn't clean and the shower was broken. On top of this, food available was hardly eatable. Fruits were ok though.

One queen bed in large room. Large selection for included breakfast. Older hotel located within walking distance of downtown. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable and kept you informed of the balloon trip in the early morning. Elevator and AC

It takes a long part of the day to reach the very rural and anc ient Cappadocia region from the overcrowded coast city of Antalya. I travelled by bus. It was worth every minute of the journey. The charmingly dusty market town of Urgup is a good centre from where to explore from. Our HOTEL TASSARAY had the atmosphere of... More

The somewhat dated TAȘSARAY HOTEL - claimed to be built in 1990 - ? - seems to be the Queen of Ürgüps many hotels. Obviously having seen better days (I do not quite buy the 1990 thing...) it still maintains its position with a certain grace – may I call it ”province elegance” of a by-gone era. This, however, does... More
