Staying here was a highlight of our time in Turkey!! A well run family business, Kemal, Barbara and Amir go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and make sure you enjoy your time in Goreme. They organised tours and were very happy to help us plan our self guided days, giving detailed turn by turn descriptions. We spent...

I stayed for 3 nights at Kemal's with my family and absolutely loved it! It is simple but very clean and relaxing with a beautiful garden. The small atmosphere makes it very comfortable and feel almost like home. Kemal, Barbara, and all the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and great to talk to. I highly recommend eating dinner there as...

'Kamaal hai'- simply the best! The hospitality, the food, the location, the accomodation......nothing could be better. Now the details- Barbara and Kemal make a deadly combination- almost killing you with their warm hospitality and bubbly enthusiasm! The emails were promptly replied to, the pick up and drop went without a hitch, and the prices were extremely reasonable. I felt I...

I had an amazing time in Kapadokya, absolutely loved it and part of that is thanks to Kemal's Guest House. The owners, Barbara and Kemal, are lovely and share with you their experiences and pieces of advice; Emin is great at showing all the different possiblities of the area: guided tours, walk abouts, etc., very helpful. And the rest of...

only basic comfort available in the rooms. The service (a.o. cleaning room & empty dustbin) is only done on request. In the morning and evening it was chilly (0 - 1°C) but there was no heating in the room. Finally an electric fire was brought in the room.

Lovely breakfast, french toast, eggs, fresh fruit and coffe and a bread basket. Nice upper area terrace to enjoy a glass of wine in the late afternoons. Staff...

Although we failed to confirm the reservation the staff was ready for us, even at 7 o'clock in the morning, after a night bus. The staff is friendly and very helpful in giving directions and location tips either for organised tours or for us hikers. Room was clean, and there was nothing that I missed while at the guesthouse.

When we arrived spontaneausly the pension was full, but they helped us finding another good place to stay for one night (hotel atak, also a nice pension around the corner). The next two nights we could stay at kemal's. Good beds! But it got very warm in the room. Maybe a van could help then. Barbara arranged an individual hike...

“4 rooms at the garden and 4 rooms at the 1 floor with a beautiful view at goreme”

“The cave rooms are a bit dark and the wooden floor very noisy, the white curtain in front of the door is also very see through thus not very private if the light is swiched on in the room. For a family on a budget it was a good choice, but remember to bring soap and shampoo as this is not supplied, only handwash. Ask for one of the rooms on the top floor, more private and less noisy and a view of Goreme.”
