This hotel is more like a large traditional Turkish family estate with winding stairs, carpets and artistic seating arrangements throughout. Our suite was spacious and well appointed with old furnishings which fit perfectly in the surroundings. The best part, other than than the authenticity of the pace, was the feast of a breakfast. Too many items to mention and all were...

Beautiful and traditional building, once containing 15 turkish dwelling, its winding staircases now decorated with an eclectic collection of old radios, keys, carpets, religious icons and a courtyard filled with flowers. Charming hotel up the hill in Avanos. Wonderful breakfasts served in the courtyard. Enormous room (double bed and two singles, with a separate sitting room and bathroom. No lift,...

I am very impressed this hotel decoration. The owner of the hotel is an artist. His drawing is very attractive. You can ask him for his postcard. The whole hotel is like a gallery. The hotel layout is very interesting and unique. The hotel is large and but is spread out. Everything is very clean. The staff is very friendly....

Hotel Sofa, partially built into a series of caves and eclectically furnished and decorated is an absolute delight. Breakfast in the morning can be taken either inside a small room complete with wood burning fireplace....to chase away the early morning chill......or outside in the garden patio. The hotel does have Wi-Fi however we found it necessary to sit outside our...

Once in a lifetime you visit a hotel like sofa hotel. This is the most beautiful and unique hotel I have ever visited. It is filled with one off pieces. The room was unique, however had a very musky smell to the room as it was in a cave. That was the only downside to the room. I enjoyed the...

We stayed at Sofa as part of a hiking package arranged by Inntravel. Our stay was brief but very enjoyable, and the town is quite interesting, particularly given its history as a source for the clay used for millennia in its pottery. Breakfast was good, and we were only sorry we couldn't hang around long enough to explore further.
