We spent 1 night here as part of a tour. The location is excellent with some rooms having views, we had a small balcony on the side of the hotel where we could see the Dardanelles. The room itself was poor, worn carpet, mould in the bathroom - others in our group also commented on this. Dinner was a buffet...

This 4-star hotel is right across the street from the Dardanelles (ancient Hellespont) with spectacular views—especially from the roof-top bar. It also is an excellent place to base oneself for a visit to the Archaeological ruins of Ancient Troy. When we first arrived, we were in front, and went in to ask about on-site parking there were a number of...

Our room didn't have a huge view, but we could see the ocean from our deck. More importantly, our meals were on the outdoor deck of the restaurant, which was nice. Our room was moderately sized, for a European hotel. The bathroom was a bit small, but the worst part was the shower partition that kept only a small fraction...

This is a safe choice in Cannakale and will not disappoint if you are not expecting too much. It is clean, spacious and has great views from the rooms without setting any records. It is expensive in terms of value for money. Breakfast has a good food selection but tea and coffee was below average, service slow and the layout...

Food better than some of the other so-called 5star hotels in Turkey, but not good by a long shot. Have what seems to be close to a 1000 TV and radio channels but when asked about an English news channel the answer was 'no'. But aircon does not work. Blows stale coolish air into the room and when you open...

The foyer is attractive, great views from the rooftop bar and restaurant however the pool area and rooftop bar badly need refurbishing. Pool area had no chairs or tables around and was quite an unattractive area. Fantastic water pressure in showers.

This hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed there, so this review may be a little out of date. There was building rubbish very close to the reception desk. Check in was quick and the staff at reception were very friendly. We were given a room at the back of the hotel which meant we had to walk to the...

I was here only one night so it was okay for that. But if you are staying longer you definitely want to look elsewhere. Food is fine and the dining area is spacious and affords a sea view. It is centrally located right on the main drag of Canakkale, close to the Trojan horse used in the Brad Pitt Troy...

This was by far the worst hotel booked through Gate 1 as part of our 13 day itinerary in Turkey. For starters, the rooms (Yes, plural. I'll explain in a minute.) were stuffy and smelled like smoke. (As we found out during our stay in Turkey that nonsmoking rooms are not the same as you would expect in the US)....

We stayed here one night in late May (we were undertaking a Gallipoli and Troy tour). Yes, the lobby is being upgraded but this didn't interfere without stay at all. Friendly staff and the information desk manager ran over to is when he first spotted us to make sure we checked in ok and to have our bags taken up....
